A peacock to pick me up

I've always loved the fancy bird, the peacock. I'm soooo glad that it is making a come back in fabrics, stamps and paper!

While on vacation with my family today we went to the Big Bear Historical Museum and I couldn't resist snapping a photo of this vintage bird from the early 1900s!

Coming back to our room I craved to craft, but alas this was not to happen as I wrestled kids into naps and made my famous shredded beef tacos (yummy!).

So here, I'm popping this up with the desire to craft and a promise to do so as soon as I'm home (Laundry, bite me! You will haveee to wait!). Thankfully I did almost all the laundry before we left. Lol. No shortage of undies to happen for a bit.

So, drool and get the itch to craft with these great shots of peacocks, such a regal and lovely bird (as long as they don't roam my neighborhood, lol, they do John's Compare's. Mean lil buggers, I hear.). I can't say how much this fresh air, lake and colors in the sky is driving me to a crafting coma!! (hubby says I need to focus on the family, darn it!)

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
