A Man Sized Card

Long lines, bold colors, metal accents and a large, manly sized card comes to life!  This card is an ideal money card.... and perfect to celebrate a masculine sweet birthday!

What do YOU think?!?  Leave me a comment and let me know!  Share this, Pin, Email, Facebook, Tweet and Google+ it (and me!)  Follow me on these channels and YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and more!
With Island Indigo card stock (#122923), a favorite blue of mine, as the base, this card is longer than most.  It's ideal to hold Money or Gift Certificates, presenting them like the wonderful gift that that is!
The major down side to creating a larger or unusual card size is the ability to locate a proper sized envelope that is affordable!  I have the SOLUTION for That!!  The new and awesome Envelope Punch (#133774) provides me with the ability to create up to 66 different sizes of envelopes!!  (Whoop! Whoop!!)  This affordable punch is easy to store and use... creating envelopes of every color or pattern that I want, and unusual cards, file folders, gifts and more!
With quick and easy directions, measurements laid exactly where I need them, I'm always able to create an envelope that coordinates with my project, quickly and easily!  See HOW with this fun video!
BONUS!!
Place an Order for the Envelope Punch with Me by October 19th (in person, via email or On-Line) and Be Entered for a $25 Shopping Spree!!  Order more than one (it's a great gift) and be Entered for EVERY Envelope Punch You Order!!  If there are 40 Punches ordered I will do TWO Drawings!!  (When Ordering, Enter HOSTESS CODE: JQJVRBUS)
Using the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (#132341 Holiday catalog pg. 29) I used these silver foil accented pages that remind me of a fancy tie.  Wrapped in a coordinating piece of Winter Frost paper for a fun and funky envelope - a built in liner due to it's being double sided!
Adding a dash more of silver with our Silver Foil Sheets (#132178 pg. 28 Holiday catalog) that I embossed using the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#132174 Holiday pg. 22) and my Big Shot Die-Cutting machine (#113439).  This card should shine, like the special day it's celebrating!
Heat Embossing Silver Embossing Powder (#109131)  this pin striped Cycle Celebration stamp set (#130273) for a coordinated and fun vibe on top of the Island Indigo.  Our Versa Mark pad (#102283) and Heat Tool (#129053) allow this cool look, quickly and easily!  Punch it out with our Decorative Label punch (#120907) for an easy accent and greeting!

Adding fun accents with our adhesive backed Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) continues with the richness of this card.
Don't you love it when a man is pulled together.  I love looking at old photos of men in pin-striped suits... so go ahead, celebrate the men in your life!  Imagine that diamond pinky ring (ok, so I love a good mafia movie, shoot me - or not - lol).

Pull a card together with a fun envelope that hints at what is inside.  YES - You Can send a patterned envelope!  This punch allows you to create mail-able envelopes that stand up to the test of the USPS processing - lol.  Adding a White Label that clearly shows the address and recipient allows them to process this fun gift!  Send money (green and always usable) or create a custom gift certificate - for a visit, a date, a massage, a meal... and warm their hearts with your thoughtfulness!

Thanks for coming by!  I try to post daily and hope to see you back and often!  Join the Gettin' Crafty Stampin' Mailing List for this Exclusive Membership to fun and more!

This card celebrates bold lines, a chrome effect, and strong colors.  Perfect for ANY Man... or lover of the Roaring 20's, or Classic Cars.. lol.  I hope that sweet man in your life gives you reason to celebrate!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
