Pumpkin Party

During Fall a great decoration to pull out is Pumkins!  I have a dear friend, Carol, who decorates with over 300 each year... how do YOU Decorate for Fall??  I love taking what is expected and changing it to something new... doing so with these fun fake pumpkins creates a decoration that could remain out all year!!

What do you think?!?!  Leave me a comment and let me know!  Share this and me with your friends and family... Pin, Email, Facebook, Tweet, Google+ this and FOLLOW ME on these avenues, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and more!
All lined up and ready to take the Fall season on.. lol, this army of pumpkins are sure to add some flavor to the holidays!!
Decopodge the pumpkins for a cool and classic look with our Modern Medley Designer Series Paper (#126926).  This pattern reminds me of a great Victorian pattern, making this pumpkin into a vintage and classic decoration!  Tie up the top with this black satin ribbon (retired) and add our Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (#127555) for a rich crystal accent.  The adhesive backed Pear Basic Jewels (#119247) come in a variety of sizes and adhere easily to the button for this cool flower accent.
Hot Glue saves the day - it holds the ribbon in place, the button too.. for a cool looking gourd!
Going girly... I am not uber floral and girly... but sometimes I love adding a natural element to my decorating.  Here the  Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper (#131390) is modge podged onto another pumpkin.  This Ruffled Ribbon in Baked Brown Sugar (#130222) adds an uber feminine and vintage accent to this pumpkin.
ALWAYS have a fan in an open room to do this Modge Podge... the fumes can make you light headed.. or have your husband complain profusely - lol.
Starting with a Cream colored pumpkin for two looks... here the Witches Brew Designer Washi Tape (#132156 Holiday pg. 20) wraps up a cool look!  Accented with our adhesive backed Pearls Basic Jewels (#119247) and Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) for a cool twist on a bumpy pumpkin!
The came out so pretty!  I love the difference in them.  I'm not big on 'halloween' but I do love Fall... so these really do cover that with a cool trendy look!
Spray painted Silver... I love how the Rhinestones really lend to the rich and trendy look of this gourd!
Who wouldn't love to incorporate this into their home and decoration??
Adding a Kitchy feel with the Afternoon Picnic paper - this larger pumpkin tied up with our Victoria Crochet Trim (#118481) allows for a fun mixed media look... I do love who the larger pumpkin can balance the smaller pumpkin.  Though different, they do decorate together oh so well!
Feminine, fun, trendy, vintage and yet timeless... these accents are a great way to use up your extra paper (we all have extra paper laying about) while creating a decoration that will live for many years!!

I'm so happy that you came by today!  Come by and visit often... remember to Follow Me and bring your friends and family along when you Share the Fun we are having!  I try to post daily and hope to see you back and often!!

Decorate your home in fun and new ways.  You will be surprised at the reaction you receive of 'Wows' and more!  Extend Fall past October as these sweet pumpkins are sure to last until you put up your Winter decorations if not all year long!!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
