100 Milk Cartons for gifts!

What do you give 100 of at an Elementary School?!?!  Milk Cartons, of course!  Cute, Christmas Candy filled, Decorated Mini-Milk Cartons!!  My Holiday schedule is often made a tiny bit crazier when I create gifts for the Holidays and my kid's classmates, the teachers and staff of our amazing school.  So this year I stuck with less than my usual, lol, and 100 was the limit for this Christmas Gift.

What do you think??  Please Share Me and This with a Pin, Email, Facebook post, Tweet.. and Join Me with a follow on these avenues and YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Foursquare!  Get even MORE Gettin' Crafty Stampin' with our Exclusive Mailing List and it's many rewards!!
For this Cute Christmas Creation you will need:
Whisper White card stock (#100730)
Cherry Cobbler ink (#126966)
Crumb Cake ink (#126975)
Very Merry Tags stamp set (#130402)
Wishing You stamp set (#131751)
Rhinestone Jewels (#119246)
Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine (#123125)
1-3/4" Circle Punch (#119850)
Mini Milk Carton Bigz L (#117310)
Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439)
Accent the TOP of this Mini Milk Carton with a Cute Tag!  The Very Merry Tag stamp set has a fun assortment.  Here the Reindeer is elegant but adding our adhesive-backed Rhinestones make it whimsical with the help of my Red Permanent Marker.  My kiddo's signed the back of them.

Tied to the top with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine (also used some cheap baker's twine my kids had in their craft box - it was a wreck and just unraveled... ugh, I'll never do that again!!).  The Twine and Tag helped hold the Mini Milk Carton together!
So myyyy week didn't allow me to tackle these until 8:30 the night BEFORE the last day of school!  So from 8:30pm to 1:30am, then up again at 5:30am 100 of these little babies came to life!

Using Whisper White card stock in the Big Shot and Mini Milk Carton Die these came out cut and scored in just the right places!  Stamping this cute stack of gifts from the Wishing You stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink while it's flat allows for a clean image.  The Cherry Cobbler mimics the writing I remember on the Milk Cartons of my youth while embracing the Christmas Season!

The secret to making 100 mini-milk cartons strong enough to stand up to elementary kids??  HOT GLUE!  It's scary using Hot Glue at the wee hours of the morning but with little injury I stuck to it (lol) and they were strong enough for little hands!
Add these tags for an additional cute accent.  It's a great way to wish a Merry Christmas!!
Stamping only two sides is a fun way to accent these gifts.  It says 'gift' literally - lol.
All lined up... 100 cute boxes would be tied together the following morning.  The kids and staff were blessed by these cuties!
How do you gift a gift??  I love seeing the kids eyes light up when they know 'Mrs. Albanese' is coming to visit!  I've watched the kids grow since we were one of the founding families and my son was in Kinder... now as they approach Jr. High in a short bit - they have grown to know and love our little holiday celebrations.  This year I have three kids on campus and the tradition continues.....

It's a gift to me that you came by today!  Please come and visit often, I try to post daily.  Share, Pin, Facebook and Email me with your family and friends.

Create Personalized Gifts even during the busiest season of the year!  These Mini-Milk Cartons celebrate the Christmas Season, wrap a small gift that is ideal for the kids and staff and honor childhood memories while raising a carton in toast.  With the aide of this great die and Big Shot these pretty presents will secure a smile and won't leave a white mustache.

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
