Wrap it up

Do you ever want to wrap something up but finding the perfect bag can be a challenge??  In my home I will find a boy's birthday gift bag when I need a baby-shower bag or a girl's birthday bag when I need one for a golf gift.  So change it up and have fun with your bags, using something as menial as a Sandwich Bag and Repurposing it into a Personalized Hand-Stamped Gift Bag!
Create this cute bag with:
Say It Your Way stamp that you personalize!! (#132852)
Postage Collection (Hostess Exclusive) stamp set (#129237w/129240c)
Chocolate Chip ink (#126979)
Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (#132994)
Honeycomb Embossing Folder (#129378)
Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439)
Hexagon Punch (#130919)
Mini Metallic Clothespins (#133320)
Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive (#104430)
Sandwich Bags

Add a personal note with this Say It Your Way Stamp that I just created!  I LOVE IT!!  I am not a big Polymer stamp fan (sorry) but I do love the results with personalized new Stamp!  I even ordered two types to have double the fun!!  This Circle Monogram stamp is a wonderful gift to others (or yourself).

Close the bag with our new Mini Metallic Clothespins really do the job and add a dash of whimsy with the elegance of the Gold!  I love the Occasions 'Let's Celebrate' Mini catalog!
Add Texture to your bag with any of our Embossing Folders and Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.  Here the Honeycomb folder adds a whimsical texture to this previously Plain Jane lunch bag.
Stamping the bee from the Hostess Exclusive Postage Collection stamp set so that it centers over a colored dot on the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (again, love, love, love the Occasions 'Let's Celebrate' catalog!!).  This Chocolate Chip inked bee now has a dash of color.

Using the Hexagon Punch to pop out this cute bee, I made sure the colored dots surrounded the little critter for a fun accent.  Raised above the Honeycomb embossing with Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive, it's strong enough to hold up to being an outside of the bag embellishment.
Creating a designer, personalized bag is a fun way to deliver smiles!!  This quick project took me less than 5 minutes and will surely deliver joy for a long while!
The Embossing will go through multiple layers and looks so cool when used this way!
I especially love how the sides are embossed, it is amazing what the Big Shot can do!

Repurposing a lunch sack into a personalized hand-stamped gift bag is a cool way to give a gift!  My girlfriend sells Arbonne and I wrapped up her gift in this... what a fun way for her to deliver smiles with her direct-sales business!!  Stop looking for the perfect gift bag, instead get creative and have fun repurposing bags, like this brown paper lunch sack, into a personalized and cool gift bag!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
