Dodgers Memories Documented

I love how Documenting your Memories will allow you to relive them!  Taking those memories from your smart phone/camera to actually printing them, to getting them into a book... it's priceless!  Here a simple Double Date to our beloved Dodgers game is a fun thing to add to our annual book.  Then my hubby can say 'See, I do take you places' , ha, ha, ha.  Join me in reliving and documenting our memories - quickly (because that is all the time I have - little time) on this Memory Celebrating Monday.

Memory Celebrating Monday is a fun way for me to actually be motivated to do two things:  (1) get those memories printed off of my smart phone and (2) get them into a book so that we can reflect upon our times together and with friends.  Here adding our ticket (you have to print them these days) and adding the pictures of our friends and us on a double date is a fun way to see and remember our times together.

The Playground Project Life Accessory Pack perfectly coordinates with the Playground Project Life Cards and all, easily, store in a neat box for easy coordination and storage.  I love the accessories - as we are just kids at heart, this fun collection has cool cardboard accents, like this heart cut out I used next to my hubby and my photo.
One of myyyy favorite aspects of the games is the amazing Garlic Fries at the Dodgers Stadium.  So yeah, I added them to our book - lol.  The fun Num-Num stamp set accents this with the cardboard arrow from the collection.  It's a fun memory of our times at the games.. and my love of these divine potatoes - lol.  Simply use the Island Indigo Stampin' Write Marker (from the Regals collection) and paint on the stamp - you don't need an ink pad in order to ink your stamps - these travel so well, too!  Stamped on Whisper White card stock and punched out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch - it's a nod to the baseball game we were at!
Simple Journaling - I'm not big on writing a book about our experiences.  These Project Life cards are perfectly sized and oh-so-cute to use in our journaling about our life and memories.  I know that some day we will look back and smile at these memories - and for me, the pictures say so much more than our words do.

We were pleasantly surprised to see a friend and the wife of our son's coach on the big screen!  Darlene was recruited to do a trivia game and won a stack of music!  Seeing her was a hoot!  Using our Essentials Hardware Clips to add a simple highlight of the '&' indicates the bonus of seeing our friend at the game!  (I love how my card making accents and stamps can take my Memory Documenting to the next level!)
Here I snagged some action shots (they aren't on the TV unless you subscribe to one vendor that we do not - grrrr) - so sharing this on Facebook is a fun way to show my friends the game that they are probably listening to on the radios...   Cutting the photo in 1/2 lets me fill two boxes on this Project Life Pocket Page while adding a cool accent to the page.  Stamping this fun 'Best Day Ever' stamp is easy with the Remember Rotary Stamp and yes, I can even add the date!!

I love how printing the photos from my iphone is easier than ever!  Having these Groovebooks around gives me the opportunity to document our lives and taking them off of my iphone and onto my computer to back-up.  When I've printed the photos, I know it's OK to take them off of my phone (and with 5,000+ photos it's a great way to free up some space for more of our adventures!)

Let ME give YOU the Gift of Pictures... I don't receive anything for this referral but I found the Coolest App that I have to share with you!  CLICK HERE to see more on the Groovebook App and how to print 100 photos for FREE (yes, Free) from your smart phone!!

I love my kids, but documenting our memories that don't involve the kiddos will give them the knowledge that we put our marriage first.  That time with friends is important.  That the Dodgers ROCK - lol.  Having fun and using our pictures to speak volumes frees me up from too much journaling.  Highlighting time with our friends (and Godparents to our youngest daughter) is a fun way to look back and enjoy our memories.  Sometimes life is more than pictures of our kids or family time, and I love how it fits into our memories of the summer and year.  I'm loving this Project Life Pocket System that makes for quick and easy Memory Documenting... what would YOU add to a collection like this?

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
