Rubber Stamps and their Mountings

I'm often asked Why, How and What when it comes to our crafting tools.  I adore our Rubber Stamps.  They come in three types and each have their own mountings.  There are benefits to them all.  See this post and Video Tutorial and determine what types of stamps that YOU want. (Leave me a comment on what type is your favorite and why)

Wood Mounted Stamps are our top quality Rubber Stamps that are mounted on Wood.  Easy and you never have to look for a block to mount them they are sturdy and easy to travel (all in one box).  They do store more than 2x the space of our Clear and Photopolymer Stamps.  They are also a little more pricey as they include the mounting block with each stamp set you order.

I like them for small sayings so that I don't have to search for a different block.  The Teeny Tiny Wishes and And Many More stamp sets are what I love in Wood Mounted.
Photopolymer stamps are clear and have special care needed but are clear and use the Clear Blocks.  See This Post from Last Week on the care and benefits of these great stamps. They are the least expensive to purchase.
Photopolymer stamps are clear so the benefits are great.  They can line up letters to create words or multiple stamps to create a new stamp image.

Clear Mounted Stamps are our Rubber Stamps with a cling type image.  This cling will adhere to the Clear Blocks we own.  I am partial to these as I love the ease and versatility of our Rubber Stamps (such amazing quality and no real limitations).
Our Rubber is a high cut image so it gives you an amazing stamped quality every time!
We carry many types of Clear Blocks.  I love that we have a great Storage Caddy that keeps them at hand and organized (it also shows me when one is MIA - lol).
I own 5 sets of blocks due to the amount of classes I give and my crafting addiction.  One set is perfect for most crafters.  We have the full set of 9 or a mini set of three but you can purchase them individually.
When they get dirty or stained... So our Clear Blocks and Wood Mountings will take inks when they apply.  Some will coat their wood with a varnish to create easy wipe off but I don't much care about my Wood Mountings.

Taking our Cleaners - we have two types of Stamp Cleaners - they both work with our Stampin' Scrub.  When Stazon ink gets on my block I use the Stazon ink cleaner to remove the ink.

Using Dawn Dish Soap I will clean the blocks and rinse them.  I dry them with a Microfiber cloth (like my Norwex) to sanitize and prepare the surface.  I do this every so often to clean the oils that my hand would have applied.

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
