So many changes in my life... thanks for coming along with me

I've made some changes in our lives.  Good, blessed and (I pray) God lead changes.  First - the Look to my blog.  I wanted to create a logo for the upcoming Gettin' Crafty Stampin' Retreat in Big Bear Lake, CA.  I started a design for my logo.  I wanted a vintage vibe, as is my style.  I tried many photos to get the look that I wanted and NONE worked just the way I wanted.

Until this.  This is so personal to me.  This is my beloved Nanna and her sisters.  I'm so much like her with a passion for life, strong willed, loving, passionate, adventurous, passion for God, my family, over coming our childhoods, striving to love our family, a love of fashion and shoes.  She, like me, loved jumping into life.

(When she was 80 she tried to go sky diving with me.  She went to a slew of Doctors who wouldn't authorize her due to her back issues.  She sat and watched me dive - her eyes lit up and she said she lived vicariously through me, she didn't stop smiling for days.)

She was one of my best friends, confidants, strength givers... and I miss her daily.

When I had my logo designed I remembered this picture from the early 1900's and had my amazing Uncle and Aunt dig to find it for me.  The girls were pastor's daughters.  They weren't supposed to dress up in pants like this.  They made a fun day and broke the rules, doing so and even having a photograph taken!

So now, my business is even more interwoven with my beloved family.  It's like my Nanna and her amazing sisters are smiling down at me.

I wanted to share some of the changes in my life with YOU.  Never had I dreamed, when I signed up for the discount, that I'd have the business of my dreams.  This year I reached some big milestones in my business.  Big.  I reached my 10 year Anniversary, 100K in Sales (that's with having 3 kids, a major move, surviving a big car accident and some crazy situations), Two Promotions this year, I was invited to the Leadership On Stage with Stampin' Up!, have the BEST Gettin' Crafty Stampin' Family and have an amazing calendar of card making classes coming up and am organizing a group of 20 women up in Big Bear Lake, CA for the Gettin' Crafty Stampin' Retreat (sharing one of my favorite places with people while sharing my passion for crafting - I'm so, so, so blessed).
This year I'm so, so, soooo close to my dream of earning the Trip to Thailand with Stampin' Up!  I have until the end of September to reach my goal.  I am three thousand dollars away from this trip for my husband and I.   So close.
I would love YOUR Support.  Join Me in this path and Shop With Me 24/7 on my website - every dollar gets me one step closer to this amazing trip.
Join Us at our fun Card Making Classes.  Participate in the Raffle in Big Bear Lake, CA and support the American Cancer Society.  Host a Private Class with me this month, sending me to Thailand and through the Holiday Season to send me to Alaska - next year!
Thank YOU.  Thank you, so much.
Your Support and Love has blessed my passion for crafting, teaching and connecting with others has helped me to fulfill so many of my dreams.
Stamping Blessings and Love,
Jamie AR Albanese

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
