Happy Birthday Gorgeous

I love any reason to celebrate... and that of a good friend's birthday that falls on Barbie Day!  When I think of Barbies, I'm remembered of my addiction to these dolls, fashion, adventures, relationships.. all wrapped up in the Barbie.  I love her amazing fashion options... so when creating a handmade card for a friend's birthday, of course I add in some flair.  Join Us and Create in-person or online at our many card making and crafting classes.

~  Fussy cut with our Paper Snips the hat and dress (because every woman wants a stunning gold dress like this!).
~  Using the White Note Card and matching envelope stamp the woman.
~  Color in her skin with an Aqua Painter and the Powder Pink ink pad.
~  Adhere the dress and hat with the glue dots.

Happy Barbie Day!  I still have my sister's barbie from the 60's with movable arms, legs, feet, hands... and my full collection of doll shoes, accessories and outifits (even the ones my mom crochet for me!).  Passing these on to my girls will have to wait (seriously, they lose everything!!) but I hide them with glee (even finding time to visit and, ok - yes, play with them just a little).  Cheers to these fabulous dolls that helped us to dream.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone.
