My Life, a Small Farm Life..

Worthy of celebrating.... my life is packed with amazing moments.  As a mom of 5 girls, one son, a grandchild on the way, a small farm... homeschooling our youngest four children while being a WAHM (work at home mom).. I live a blessed and packed life.  
Last month I was flying home from a Leadership Event when our blond Nigerian Dwarf Goat gave birth to three baby goats.  I missed this amazing adventure and was heart broken but humbled that my 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter helped during the kidding.

Today I had a wonderful all-day training with my Getting Crafty Family but ended the day with a migraine.  My husband and son were building a fire for us as the rain had rolled into Southern California and fires help me to feel better.  When we heard it.. the yell of our Mocha, the brown Nigerian Dwarf Goat as she went into labor!

Blessings abound... our Mocha was a smooth and quick delivery.. bringing two baby goats (aka kids) into the world.  We are in love.  Our baby buck is black and white and going by Moon Pie. Our brown and black doe is going by Cinnamon.

So today it was jam packed and my kids and I welcomed in the newest additions to our farmily. 
A real reason to celebrate!!

    So sweet I wish I lived closer to you I take care of kids and I've been wanting to take them somewhere to see baby animals

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
