I love this stunning Painted Petals stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog!  I have this set in Photopolymer as it's easy to layer for a 2-Step Stamped look. This bright You are amazingly amazing sentiment is perfect in this corner. 

Starting with the Old Olive stamped leaves I built up this layered flower card with the lightest color (the Daffodil Delight ink) then the Real Red and then the Pacific Point for a fun, bold and layered look.

Create this lemon look by stamping this awesome lemon image along the side of this Whisper White card stock using the Jet Black Stazon ink pad. Water color the  image with the Aqua Painters for this great look. Cut the edges of the card so this cool edge looks like this! Easy but a lovely card.

This simple technique will WOW. Simply color the back (matte) side of this printed Sheer Perfection Vellum with our Brights Stampin' Write Markers. Using our Glue Dots (103683) to adhere it to the Whisper White card stock. 

Paint the Lotus Blossom FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp sentiment with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker and stamp near the butterfly you want to highlight. 

Using the fine tip on the Dazzling Details, paint the butterfly your highlighting. This takes a little bit to dry and will create a slight rippled effect  as it dries but I really like that look.

I found this guide to cut a 12"x12" piece of paper into multiple pieces from a post on SplitCoastStampers.com .  It was so easy!  I used the 2" squares and cut them in 1/2 diagonally.  What a fun and easy way to create hand-crafted cards!

The Best Year Ever stamp set is designed to remind you of a photography effect - those light bubbles.  Here it creates a great layered look using the Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana ink pads, layering the sentiment with the Soft suede ink pad over it for a lovely hand-stamped card.

Kids Memory Documenting

Create a legacy of love and memories while keeping your children busy.  When my kids were home sick they needed an activity.  They pulled out the Project Life album and were pouring over our family's memories.  My mini-me girl grabbed her own 6" x 8" book and started adding pages with her pictures and memories.  I love that this will give them time to remember their adventures and the people in our life while teaching them to document their memories for their own families one day.

We all have photos that we don't want to frame or make a big scrapbook page for.  Giving my children these photos does a few things.  It (a) gives the kids an activity (especially on a sick day like this was), (b) shows the children's thoughts, handwriting and more for the season that they are in and (c) cleans out my box of pictures!!  What a fun way to keep my kids busy while celebrating and leaving their memories for years to enjoy, I really enjoy seeing their hand writing and thoughts tied to the pictures that mean something to them.
