Memory Celebrations

Such an easy card to create that is extra pretty thanks to this new and stunning Awesomely Artistic stamp set!  I like to start from the bottom up... so stamping these 'bushes' in the Pear Pizzazz ink, then the random splatters and frame in the Pool Party ink with the dragonfly and Friend sentiment in the Island Indigo ink.  Simple, elegant, easy.  Add a dash of sparkle, a little something special with the adhesive backed Rhinestone jewels.  

A Crafter's Tip.. Odd numbers look best.  My hubby will tell you that I like even numbers but when it comes to crafting odd numbers (3, 5, 7, etc) look best.  So adding an odd number in the three sizes of our adhesive backed Rhinestone jewels gives you a 'balanced' looking hand-crafted card.

OK so I LOVE this dress!!  I want it for myyyy collection.  It inspired me to create this elegant card that was perfect for our recent Stamper's 10 Club meeting.  A simple card that says so much with one simple word.  Like this pretty dress, simple can be elegant.  Finding inspiration from the beauty of what surrounds us, fashion is a fun way to combine two of my loves into one (Happy Fashion Friday!!).

Altering this stunning collection of paper, the Timeless Elegance is probably the most stunning collection of paper in my 9+ years as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!  Using the brush side of the Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker (from the Subtles Collection) coloring in these flowers is  a fun way to create a coordianting look.

Using the new Greetings Thinlits on our Big Shot Magnetic Platform and Die-Cutting Machine it's fun and easy to die-cut this greeting.  Layered in both the coordinating Blushing Bride and Black card stock this shadowing of the two is a fun look.  How simple it is to create this sentiment with a few twists of the wrist all in an easy hand-crafted card.

I can't tell you how much I adore this new Watercolor Wings photopolymer stamp set!!  Such a beautiful collection that is limitless in color combinations.  Here pairing up the Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso inks for a warm and pretty watercolor looking butterfly.

This summer we have a wonderful collection of floating butterflies through my garden.  I adore these critters that symbolize restoration, a new start.

Creating a brick wall is fun and easy with the new Brick Wall embossing folder.  This 6"x6" extra large Embossing Folder is awesome!!  With the beauty of a red and white tipped brick wall (like we have at our home) you get the sense of the age, strength and rough that is in a brick wall.  Using the Stampin' Sponge and White Craft Ink this distressing is easy and fun to do.

With the help of our Color Coach and Paper Snips (103579) it's fun to combine colors and then create this window in the brick wall.  With super sharp tips, the Paper Snip is an amazing tool.  Here it trimmed out these 'bricks' to reveal the soft butterfly beneath.

My dear friend who blesses me with her southern charm, Helyn, reminds me to decorate the INSIDE of our cards (she is so very good at this!!).  Using the cut bricks and adding them to the inside is a great way to utilize what you may have tossed away.  I love the interest to the inside of the card that is cohesive to the front.

Sushi Memories, This Is The Life!!

My husband is famous for his Spicy Tuna Rolls.  Using the fun Sushezi we found on Amazon we create wrap free rolls - perfect as we eat them in mass quantity.
