Create this Merry Christmas and Happy New Year card with:
Basic Black card stock (#121045)
Whisper White card stock (#100730)
Brushed Silver card stock (#100712)
Delightful Dozen stamp set (#122652)
Festive Flurry stamp set (#131781)
Rhinestone Jewels (#119246)
Embossing Buddy (#103083)
Versa Mark stamp pad (#102283)
Silver Embossing powder (#109131)
Heat Tool (#129053)

(shhh a cool tip to wow embossing)
ALWAYS, before embossing, use the Embossing Buddy to prep your card stock.  So 'powdering' this Brushed Silver card stock and stamping the Festive Flurry and sentiment from the Delightful Dozen stamp sets with Versa Mark.  This sticky stamp pad allows the Silver Embossing Powder that you cover the card stock with to stick.
Heat set with our awesome Heat Tool and this silver on silver is sure to wow you, before you even send it out.  Adding the larger of the adhesive backed Rhinestone Jewels (there are three sizes on the sheet of 150 jewels) to the center of the embossed snowflake.

Layered over the Basic Black card stock for a sharp and refined look.  Adding a Whisper White card stock into the inside for a clean writing surface (feel free to stamp the snowflake and emboss it to the Whisper White card stock inside for a cool look).
I'm so blessed that you came by today!  Remember to come back often as I try to post daily.  Bring your friends and family along for this fun ride!

Quickly create a card that is sure to wow!  Awesome cards that are created in under 10 minutes are ideal for this busy holiday season!  Classic cards that wow will have you stand above the crowd.  I hope that this card inspires you to smile and have fun while you create classic and wow cards that make you shine.

For this card you will need:
Post Card background stamp (#130366)
Truly Grateful stamp set (#131370)
Very Vanilla card stock (#101650)
Pumpkin Pie card stock (#105117)
Pumpkin Pie ink (#126945)
Crushed Curry ink (#131173)
Early Espresso ink (#126974)
Linen Thread (#104119)
Paper Snips (#103579)
Versa Mark ink (#102283)
Clear Embossing Powder (#109130)
Heat Tool (#129053)
Embossing Buddy (#103083)
Brayer (#102395)
Stampin' Sponges(#101610)
Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive (#104430)
Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (#121809)
Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439)
Cutting the Very Vanilla card stock to 4-1/4"x5-1/2".  Powder with the Embossing Buddy, this primes your surface for the Versa Mark and Embossing (much like applying powder to your face, filling the nooks and crannies, before applying the remaining make-up).

Stamp this Post Card background Stamp with Versa Mark on the Very Vanilla card stock.  Stamp the bounty of wheat and 'thankful for' stamp from the Truly Grateful stamp set.

Liberally cover with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set with our Heat Tool. Cut the card stock down to near the edges of the Post Card image.

'Load' your Brayer with the Crushed Curry ink.  Add/Load the ends with the Pumpkin Pie ink.

Roll across the embossed card stock and your images will appear (like magic)!  Using my Stampin' Sponge and rubbing the embossing to remove the ink that sits on the top.  Use the same Stampin' Sponge to apply the Early Espresso ink to the edges of the card stock for a framed and vintage look.  My Color Coach (#130118) paired these colors together for a colorful and warm card!

Using the end of my Paper Snips I make a small hole and tied the bundle of wheat with the Linen Thread for a fun 3D accent.
Emboss the Pumpkin Pie card stock base with the Tulip Frame Embossing Folder and Big Shot.  Layer this brayerd post card over the top for a raised and fun framed image.

This exact technique can translate with any collection of colors... see this fun video and try it yourself!  Leave me a comment and let me know what you do!

Often the blessing of those you are thankful for add color and warmth to your life.  Send those who you are thankful for... a thankful card that reflect the beauty they bring to your life.  I'm so thankful that you came by today... I hope that I added a dash of color to your life, too!

Grey monochromatic hand-stamped Christmas tree card

I just had the most wonderful conversation with my dear and awesome cousin who lives across the nation.. while it's a balmy, sunny 85*  in my neck of the woods in California.... it's a 'warm' (ha!) 22* in his neck of the woods... New York!  So as I toast (with my Pumpkin Spice Latte)  my family and friends across the nation, those who 'enjoy' weather... I give you a snowy Christmas scene in a lovely hand-stamped card.

This classic monochromatic card is fun to create!  You need:
Smoky Slate card stock (#131202)
Whisper White card stock (#100730)
Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack (#130132)
Basic Grey ink (#126981)
Special Season stamp set (#131769)
Silver 1/8" Ribbon (#132137)
Rhinestone Jewels (#119246)
Red and Green Permanent Markers
Paired together by my Color Coach (#130118) this monochromatic cool grey card is sure to WOW!  Clean and fast cards are all the rage.  Here this fast card is ideal while being cool and clean.
Adding pops of color and shine is ideal... so this cute bow tied together is adhered with a rolled glue dot onto this Basic Grey stamped tree on this pretty polka dot Smoky Grey Designer Series Paper from the Neutrals stack.

Layering over the Whisper White card stock, these sweet polka dots take on a snowy effect that mimics what those back East....
Adding color to our Rhinestone Jewels is easy with a Permanent Marker before adhering to this tree.  Less is more so these small dashes of sparkle are minimal but make a big impact.
The High Shine still shows through when it comes to our amazing quality Rhinestone Jewels (at such a low cost) and are a must for every crafter!
Send Christmas Greetings when you send this cool card.  It's clean and cool... a perfect way to celebrate this holiday season.

Whether you have a snowy or sunny view this season, embrace the classic moments of this Christmas Season!  Raise your mug and celebrate the winter season - even if it isn't winter in your neck of the woods.  Sending a hand-stamped card is a wonderful way to warm someone's life - no matter the weather outside!

Adding a hand-drawn quality to this card by accenting the eyes and nose with the new White Stampin' Chalk Marker from the Holiday Mini pg.20.

Merry Christmas in Silver and Blue!

Silver and Blue.. what a rich and vintage combination!  Celebrate classic moments and memories this Christmas.  Add a trendy and fun look to stand out from the crowd when you have an unusual sized card and a patterned envelope to fit!

What do you think?!?!  Leave me a comment and let me know!  Share this and me with your friends and family... Pin, Email, Facebook, Tweet, Google+ this and FOLLOW ME on these avenues, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and more!
Going for a fun and unusual sized card you need:
O Holy Night stamp set (#131832 Holiday pg.33), Smoky Slate card stock (#131202),
Shimmery White card stock (#101910),
Smoky Slate Stamp Pad(#131179),
Midnight Muse Stampin' Write Maker (#126856),
Midnight Muse card stock (#126860),
adhesive backed Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246),
Silver Ribbon (#132137 Holiday pg. 28)
Create this card when you cut this 3-1/2" by 9" card stock and fold at 4-1/2".  Save the cut off portion for another card!

Stamping this O Holy Night stamp into Smoky Slate ink and then color Merry Christmas in Midnight Muse with the Stampin' Write Marker.  This will have a slightly streaked and multi-colored looking image but this lends towards the vintage look.  Layer the piece over a Midnight Muse card stock for a coordinated, framed look!

Adding the North Star stamp above it and accenting with this adhesive backed Rhinestone Jewel for an elegant touch.  (Sometimes less is more.)

Tie this silver ribbon (#132137 Holiday pg. 28) for a simple but elegant accent.
Create a Custom Envelope with our Envelope Punch Board (#133774) and the Winder Frost Specialty Designer Series paper (#132341).  This paper is double sided allowing for a coordinated pattern 'envelope liner' which is a rich accent.

Save $$ when you can create custom sized envelopes (over 66 sizes!) with the scraps of paper you have laying about.  Specialty envelopes can be so pricy and hardly as pretty!!
This card reminds me of singing carols, holding my Pappa's hand... time has since passed and he is looking down on us with a smile.  This card brings back great memories to share with those on my list!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
