Create with the Butterfly Bouquet WOW Suite & Two Bonus Handmade Cards, an Early Release Unboxing and Crafting!

Here Blackberry Bliss stamps the large Butterfly collection in one fell swoop on the Oh So Ombre FREE* Designer Series Paper.

~  Ink the stamp, facing up on the stamping surface with Blackberry Bliss ink.

~  Place the Designer Series Paper face down on the image.

~  Using a Bone Folder, rub the surface lightly to transfer the image with ease.

~  Trim down to 4"x5-1/4".

~ Adhere to the Blackberry Bliss card stock base with Stampin' Seal adhesive.

I adore this tone on tone look - don't you?

BUT WAIT - There is MORE!

~ Create a Rainbow when you Die-Cut two of each sheet (they are double sided in another color) with the large outline die-cut (cutting 6 butterflies at ONCE!) on our Cut & Emboss Machine (aka the Big Boss).

~ Using the Bone Folder, fold in half (except for the antenna).

~  Using the Silicone Sheet and Stampin' Seal adhesive, adhesive the tips of the wings together with NOT Mess or Fuss!

~  Place on the inside of the Blackberry Bliss hand stamped card and close said card.

~  Open to a POP Up Card with a vibrant Rainbow effect!

What an easy and fun, interactive pop up handmade card!

~  Use a Gel Pen or Metallic Pen to write on the inside or apply a lighter cardstock inside before adhesiving the butterflys. 

Ohhh the FUN, Color and Texture of this with NO Stamping yet ALL of the Beauty!

~  Score at 4-1/4", Cut the Mint Maracron at 5-1/2"

~  Cut a piece of Natural Touch textured birch colored paper to 4"x5-1/4"

~  Cut the Butterfly Bijou to 3-3/4"x4-3/4" and adhere both to the card front with Stampin' Seal adhesive.

Die-Cut the Butterfly Bijou with the same die.

~  Out comes five STUNNING and lovely colored butterflies.

~  Fold with a 'flat v' (see the video) and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Don't forget the inside!

**Make sure the wings do not excede the outside of the card size so that it fits easily in an envelope**

Add a note to 'fluff my wings' to this and have your friend or family enjoy this interactive hand crafted card.

Happy Father's Day...

Today is Father's Day.  Up at our favorite place our kids are cooking away, we have the world's best view, our kids sing songs they composed to their dad and we have fun little gifts to give him.  One of my very favorite things about our Paper Pumpkin kits is that they are so timely.. creating this May kit with it's perfect masculine style and sentiments makes it so easy to appear timely (we made this at our Coffee and Cards back in May - lol!).  So today, up from our home~away~from~home we wake to the most amazing view, birds chirping, kids cooking and a day all about their dad and memories of my Father and Grandfather.

I was the only girl in wood and metal shop as a kid.  I also knew how to drill and plumb a bath tub by this time - lol.  Sitting my my Father's knee, I worked along side of him creating custom Jacuzzi jet bath tubs.  Let's just say, creating with tools is second nature.  Create your own wood art with our amazing stamp sets!  
~  Using the Waterfront stamp set stamp the mountains in Early Espresso ink.
~  Stamp the grassy area in the Granny Apple Green ink.
~  Stamp the water with our Coastal Cabana ink pad, alternate the inking... Technique:  Stamping Off... stamp the image once in the Coastal Cabana ink pad then without re-inking turn the image and stamp again for a lighter stamp.
~  I love the sun stamped in the Mango Melody ink.

Moving Mountains stamping and wood burning

I've loved crafting for as long as I can remember.  With our summer plans and soon to hit Big Bear Lake, this handmade sign has been in the back of my mind.  My dad would say this about me, as my brother and mom often tried to wake me (I worked after school a full-time job, often arriving home very late at night.).  'Allow her to sleep, for when she wakes, she will move mountains'.  Nothing better than this stunning new stamp set, Waterfront, on this beautiful Walnut Hollow wood from Wood Burn Corner.  (See this Video of this process in under one minutes!)

Creating something different and fun is a perfect way for me to clear my mind yet fill my crafting heart.  

~  Stamping the Mountains in the new Gray Granite ink, stamp once and then again (before re inking) to create the shadowed landscape.
~  Stamp the landscape with the new Granny Apple Green ink.
~  Stamp the lake (same Stamping-Off technique used here) in the new Coastal Cabana ink pad.
~  Stamp the trees in the Granny Apple Green, using the same Stamping-Off technique.
~  Writing out the text in pencil I used the Walnut Hollow wood and the Wood Burn Corner burning kit.
~  Going slow, wearing a mask, a well ventilated room, good lighting.  I know I need practice but I do love the art of this and creating something so personal.

Gorgeous Wood hand made art and gift

I was one of thooooose girls growing up.  I played football in the street with the boys, climbed trees, played in the mud and in high school I was one of the few (the only one in my classes) who took wood shop and metal working.  I also received the best grades in those classes while having a BLAST!  Creating this fun gift/wood art was a nod to my love of all crafts, creating, wood and my passion for stamping!  See this fun video tutorial below.  Join Us at our upcoming card and crafting classes (in-person and to-go) where we will be creating fun projects like this (at our next Creative Connections class and dinner on July 29th).

I love wood.  The smell, texture, and potential.. Adding nature to my hand crafted projects makes my heart so happy!

~  Using these slices of wood and Black Archival ink stamp the Hello Gorgeous saying from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.

~  Stamp the roses next and then the stem.

~  Water color in the flowers with the Aqua Painters and our Daffodil Delight ink.

~  Add depth and color with the Calypso Coral ink for that two toned effect.

~  Color in the stem with the Wild Wasabi ink.

~  Seal this off with wood sealer or Modge Podge (like I did).

~  Allow to dry.

~  Hot Glue the strong magnets to the back.
