OK I am not perfect (shhhh - don't tell my kids and hubby).  Even I can make a mistake when I am crafting (I really make a ton of them - I'm the queen of hiding them!).  Here I used my freshly reinked and juicy Melon Mambo ink pad for this birthday girl wish.  Stop, breathe, don't fear and don't thow out the handmade card!

This pretty black, lace, Spider Web Doilies are so great!  They are sturdy enough to be cut and hold well to a project.  I'm in love with the new Fine-Tip Glue Pen.. it comes with a fine pin that keeps this uber fine tip clean and ready to use each time.  Using less as you just add a small dot and it holds so well!  

Layered over the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper for a fun Halloween accent.  This packet of paper is neutral enough to use for non-holiday themed cards while working with the season.  I really dig it!!  Stamping directly on it with this Six Sayings Hostess Exclusive stamp set with the new Archival Black Ink Pad - the black stays true and is great to use in water coloring, with rubber or photopolymer stamp sets and more!!

I love the color black.  A favorite neutral - it is the biggest selection in my wardrobe (even though it's not a color I'm 'supposed' to wear).  Combine it with my adoration for our Glimmer Paper.. it's dynamic!!  Simply punch this cute Banner for the top with the Banner Punch and adhere with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen for a cute addition of sophisticated sparkle.

Did I mention that I LOVE this Doily??  It's double sided - white on one side, black the other.  It will make for a great stencil (it's so sturdy and can really hold up).  Layered over pretty Designer Series Paper or on card stock, Glimmer Paper, boxes, bags.. cut in half or quarters.. the package comes with 24 pretty doilies to play with.  Not limited to Halloween either - it's pretty enough to use on so many items.  It also reminds me of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland!!

Bold pops of color! The 2015-17 In Color Collection is bold and sharp in colors; being fun to create with.

You can not stamp (well) on our Glimmer Paper.  Create your own!  Stamp the images here from the Wild About Flowers photpolymer stamp set.  (Photopolymer makes it super fun and easy to stamp a 2-stamp set image!)  Stamp the image you wish and then cover it withe Versa Mark ink pad.  Coat with the Iridescent Ice heat embossing glitter powder.  Shake off the excess and heat set with our Heat Tool.  It will be super sparkling, like our Glimmer Paper, and the stamped image will be sharper and prettier due to the heat embossing.

(This particular stamp set is laid out to have ease in 2-Step stamping!!)

Color on color.  This Cucumber Crush ink on matching card stock gives a great look to this hand-stamped card.  Perfect to wish them a Congratulations on what ever their new adventure may be!

I love lace and I cannot lie.. other's may deny.. lol, OK so this is tied to an old song of my youth but it's so true!  I love lace.  With the many types, and color options (perfectly coordinated to match our inks and papers) you can dazzle and wow!  Here the Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim pops those blossoms on this card. I love how it's perfectly matched for ease of dynamic crafting.

Frozen, the Disney movie, is all the rage with the girls these days.  I have to admit, though cute, it isn't my favorite movie.  But as my daughters sing it (even I do - it's full of catchy tunes) and are invited to various Frozen birthdays - I couldn't resist creating a cool card for this sisterly movie.  (I just love when a Christmas card project can be used for a variety of celebrations!)  So join me in creating this chilly hand-crafted card that was met with a warm smile!

I love how the Card Thinlits have the coolest coordinating dies with it!  Here using the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and the coordinating thinlit die I create an iridescent sparkling snowflake.  Using Crystal Effects to adhere it on gives me a clear and strong adhesive.  (It also grabs onto the Frosted Sequins for a cool effect.)

At a recent birthday party for one of my daughter's friends we were celebrating Ella and the movie Frozen.  I love what they can do with cakes these days.  I love, too, how cute this card is and how it matches the party!

I use my Stampin' Trimmer to cut and score this card to create a cool secret panel (see the video below).  Emboss the card using the Filigree Embossing Folder for a texture that coordinates perfectly with this card!  I LOVE interactive cards - this hand-stamped card moves and wow's!

The Brrr sparkles so pretty and fits perfectly on the back of the snowflake that will move  I love the look of this card for the Frozen Birthday Party!

Here with the 'secret pocket' of the card you can double the space you have to use!  Here my 8 year old helped me by stamping 'Make a Wish' in Island Indigo ink.  I love how it fits on that pop out panel.

Recently, in discussion with a fellow stamper, we discussed the need for single layered stamped cards that are pretty but work for ministry needs.  This clean, classic, easy Work of Art hand-stamped, single layered In-Color card with the addition of bling in the In-Color Sequins you can deliver some hand-stamped blessings.  (Sometimes, less is more, like this clean and easy hand-stamped card.)

The fun to this card is the dash of sparkle and shine in the sequins!!  I LOVE this collection of 750 (!!!!) Sequins perfectly died to match this In-Color collection.

 

Using the Work of Art stamp set, the Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Baked Brown Sugar to create a multiple layered card on the single layered Very Vanilla card. Add dashes of the Sequins around the card for interest (using the Glue Dots to adhere them is the easiest method).  Here I left a bit of un-stamped area to 'frame' the layers of the ink and pattern.
