Happy Reformation Day
Everyone!
● On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses (or statements) on the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. This act triggered the movement in world history known as the Reformation.
● The Reformation was the great rediscovery of the good news
of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. At that time, the Church had become corrupt and was teaching false doctrines like Salvation through good works.
● Martin Luther also translated the Bible from Latin to
German so the common man could read the Bible himself.
● Acts 16:31 “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…”
● Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you Have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast!
