Double Point Tuck Fun Fold StampinUp Handmade Card

I have to let you in on a secret..

Daisies are a favorite flower of mine!

I dare say...

Daisies are the Friendliest of Flowers!

I also grew up on citrus... being from California, we usually had some form of citrus growing where I lived... even having FIVE different citrus trees where we lived in Thousand Oaks, CA.

(My biggest disappointment is that we can't grow citrus here in Indiana!)

This Fun Fold was inspired... by some fun we created two years ago! I wanted to modify and even 'improve' upon it....

I'd love to know what you think of the old and new...

CREATE Three WOW Cards from this ONE Cut...

Using a 12"x9-1/2" piece of our Designer Series Paper... Cut the 12" side at 4" increments.

~ 4"x 9-1/2" of the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (MASSIVE pack of 48 Double Sided Designer Series Papers and it's ON SALE!)

~ Score it at 2-1/8" on each of the 9-1/2" sides.

~ Turn 90* and score at 2" to the line on each side until you connect it to the first score line (Creating an upside down T).

~ Using the Bone Folder to soften the fibers of these end flaps.

~ Fold into the center 2" fold on this 4" side and use the Bone Folder to impress the V Point and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

~ With a trimmed Basic White card base (I literally started with a 5-1/2"x8-1/2" card base and scored it at 4-1/4" - cutting OFF 1/4 on each side) to create a 4"x 5-1/4" card and adhere to the inner base, in between the pointed flaps.

~ Fussy Cut (from the cut off strip) these daisies with or Paper Snips.

~ Apply the Wink of Stella glimmer brush to the Daisies.

~ Punch the circle with the 2-3/8" circle punch and apply to the center of the card (the cut down 4"x5-1/4" card) with Stampin' Dimensionals (one line so you can 'tuck').

~ Stamp the So Refreshing Lemons on the front and inside with Crushed Curry ink and the Two Step Stamping with the Pretty Peacock ink.

This just makes me sooo happy!

If you worry about opening this card...

Add a sticky note to the front suggesting that they 'Untuck the fun!'

Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
