California is known for their poppies.. usually around my birthday in April the state blooms in a majestic collection of bright orange poppies with yellow mustard and purple lavender.
Did you know.. the poppies Will NOT Bloom with out a freeze? The seeds need a harsh freeze to break the outer shell so that it will bloom in the Spring.
Kind of like life, isn't it? Our shell has to break to bloom something anew.

Dynamic color and oh so easy to create with!
~ Die-Cut the Poppy Moments dies, the large black flower, the black smaller flower outline and in Poppy Parade the smaller flower. Die-Cut the Mossy Meadow in the smaller of the leaves 'shadow' and the larger in the Old Olive .
~ Adhere the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (3-3/4" x 5") over Basic Black card stock (4" x 5-1/4") with SNAIL adhesive and on the Poppy Parade card stock base (scored at 4-1/4" cut at 5-1/5").
~ Adhere the flower together with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive over a Silicone Craft Sheet, apply a second Silicone Craft Sheet (these are a MUST Have, in my opinion, in all crafting!) across the top to secure the adhesive while protecting your fingers.
~ Adhere the black larger flower background over the card with SNAIL adhesive.
~ Tie on the stamped ribbon.
TECHNIQUE: Stamping the Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon with the Poppy Parade and Stazon Black ink creates a fun coordinated patterned ribbon! Have fun with our ribbons, reinkers, markers, ink pads and more!
~ Adhere it together, tie the ribbon and using Stampin' Dimensionals adhere to the front of this hand stamped card.
~ Add the Wink of Stella to the darker outline and leaves for a jazzy sparkle!

Don't forget the INSIDE! Stamping the flowers from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Stazon Jet Black then topping with the random Poppy Parade sprinkled stamp allows for a fun cohesive inside. Framing the Whisper White with Black card stock inside of the Poppy Parade handcrafted card allows for an elegant looking card. I like, too, when it takes up some of the space so I do not have to write as much!
