A pear of friends.. handmade card

This past week I was blessed to attend the Stampin' Up! CentreStage and OnStage events.. doing so in Texas.  Everything is bigger in Texas, they say, even my heart!  Two very big parts of my heart lives with two families who happen to live within 10 minutes of each other.. so it was my heart reuniting with some of our dearest friends.

Those special people in your life really are a gift from God... this cute handmade card is in honor of those who are really amazing friends.
~  Using the Thick Whisper White card as the base, score this at 4-1/4" and cut at 5-1/2".
~  Stamp the *Fruit Basket images with Black Archival ink the fruit bowls and the pears.
~  2-Step Stamping is so easy with Photopolymer!  Here simply ink the inside part with Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist and Black Archival ink to fill in these images on regular Whisper White card stock.
~  Fussy Cut the bowls out with our Paper Snips.
~  Punch the pears out with the small Fruit Basket punches (sold in this Coordinating Bundle and soon to *Retire!).  
~  Adhere the Tutti Fruity Designer Series Paper to the front of the card and a 1/2" strip of Black card stock.
~  Apply these fun adhesive backed Tutti Fruity sequins to the card.
~  Sparkle it up with our Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.
Celebrating friendships is so important.  I can't help but be blessed by those who hold a bit of my heart right there in Texas.  I wanted to honor them and our kinship with a pretty handmade card on our Facebook LIVE.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
