Fashion Friday Cherry Blossom Dress inspired hand-stamped card

Spring has sprung (and here in So. California - it seems like we bypassed Spring and landed mid-Summer - with 102*- ugh).  When I think of Spring the first thing I think of is Cherry and Almond Blossoms on newly budding trees.  So this Fashion Friday see this cute, feminine, Punch-Art card that embodies Spring while celebrating Fashion and this retro-cool dress!

Creating this pretty Cherry Blossom inspired card in our Colorful WOW Card Class was a blast!  Here with the Pansy Punch (and Petite Petals Punch) creating these flowers in the Blushing Bride card stock.  Use the White Stampin' Chalk Marker to create a pop of white in the center. 
 
Dab the *Sponge Dauber in the Blushing Bride ink and add dimension to the center of the flower and the edges of the leaves.
 
Layer over the Flowering Flourishes stamped in Chocolate Chip ink on the Soft Sky card stock. (Pair these colors with the aide of the Color Coach #130118.)
A feminine and pretty look - these flowers pop with the aide of the Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive.

I adore and will miss the *Express Yourself Hostess Exclusive stamp set.  Here the pretty script and sentiment stamped with Chocolate Chip ink on the Tea Lace Doily adds another layer of feminine grace.

Inspired by Spring and Fashion, this pretty card comes to life and is full of soft and pretty colors.  Creating these pretty Cherry Blossoms on a lovely blue background is a fun way to say 'thank you'.  I would soooo sport this stunning retro-cool dress (give-me, give-me) and creating a card that embraces the style and femininity is fun.  So in nod to Spring, Cherry/Almond Blossoms and my passion for fashion... here is a girly-girl dress inspired card that is sure to impress!!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
