Adventurous Sky MOVING Fun Fold handmade card making tutorial

The men and women in this industry have been colorful, to say the least!

Recipe:

~  Stamp the Basic White card stock (2-1/8"x5") with the clouds in Memento Black ink, stamping the same on Sticky Note paper.

~  Stamp the Memento Black ink stamp on a scrap Basic White card stock, die cutting the sticky note clouds and plane on the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

~  Using the Sticky Notes to cover the stamped clouds coloring with the Blending Brushes and the NEW In-Colors to create this vivid sky.  

~  The Curved Label Punch makes the perfect soaring image - punched both directions and overlapped.

~  Add the 3-3/4"x1" colored card stock to the card base.

~  Grabbing a washer (from my local Do It Best center) and Dimensionals to create this - see the video on my tips in doing so here.

~  Using the Shy Shamrock Blends Combo pack to color the plane.

~  Adhere the punched out pieces to the back for a cohesive image, with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

These little guys are THE CUTEST CRITTERS EVER and it is FREE!  Same for the FREE Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper!  I LOVE Free!  

Create it by:

~ Scoring the Thick Basic White card stock at 4-1/4" & 2-1/8", cutting it at 5-1/2" with our Paper Trimmer.

~  Cutting the Pool Party card stock to 4"x5-1/4" and the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper to 3-3/4"x5".

~ Stamping these Awesome Otters in Stazon Jet Black Ink on Thick Basic White card stock, coloring them in with the Crumb Cake Blends Combo and Pool Party Blends Combo.

~  Add Wink of Stella to the eyes, nose and splashing water and fish.

~  Stamping the hat on the Sunshine & Rainbows and fussy cut this and the otters out.

~  Stamp the Pool Party scrolly/wave Designer Series Paper.

~  Add the Mini Springs Wobbles to the card front and apply the colored and fussy cut otters on top.

~  Stamp the inside of the card.

~  Impress the card front back, creating the Z-Fold.

~  Adhesive the card together.

Have FUN playing with this spring loaded card!  They'll dance and shimmy for ages and brighten anyone's day!

Using a Card Stock (Here I'm highlighting it for easy view in Basic White).

~  8-1/4" x 3-1/2" card stock base.

~ Score at 3-1/2", 4" an 4-1/2".

~  Fold the pieces in to create a 'book'.

~  Using the Paper Snips cut the 4" raised piece twice to the other score lines.

~  Push OUT the cut piece to create a pen holding area.

~  Using Tear Tape, adhesive the area between the 4" & 4-1/2" to the base (which is slightly longer due to this).

~  Adhesive the Cute Halloween 3" Designer Series Paper and the Boo Girl to the front.
