Adventurous Sky MOVING Fun Fold handmade card making tutorial

Two of my children are in training to become Airline Mechanics. When this new Adventurous Sky bundle and the Take to the Sky Suite came out, I just knew that I wanted it to create and celebrate their goals. Both, as interns, and in training have met some amazing people I also wanted to thank. The men and women in this industry have been colorful, to say the least!

Recipe:

~ Stamp the Basic White card stock (2-1/8"x5") with the clouds in Memento Black ink, stamping the same on Sticky Note paper.

~ Stamp the Memento Black ink stamp on a scrap Basic White card stock, die cutting the sticky note clouds and plane on the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

~ Using the Sticky Notes to cover the stamped clouds coloring with the Blending Brushes and the NEW In-Colors to create this vivid sky.

~ The Curved Label Punch makes the perfect soaring image - punched both directions and overlapped.

~ Add the 3-3/4"x1" colored card stock to the card base.

~ Grabbing a washer (from my local Do It Best center) and Dimensionals to create this - see the video on my tips in doing so here.

~ Using the Shy Shamrock Blends Combo pack to color the plane.

~ Adhere the punched out pieces to the back for a cohesive image, with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

It's ALL about the WAVES in this Holographic Trio Specialty Paper!!

Capture the rainbow that deliver that with a wave of joy!

So very easy to create...

~ Cutting the Holographic Paper to 4-1/4" and Die-Cut the waves and clouds.

~ Thick Basic White card stock at 4-1/4"x11", Scored at 1/2" and 5-1/5".

~ Punch the Circle in the sticky Note with the 2-3/8" Circle Punch.

~ Color the sea with the Blending Brushes and accent with our Wink of Stella glimmer brush.

~ Die-Cut the Waves and Clouds.

~ Adhere the waves with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the Clouds with the Mini Dimensionals.

~ Stamp the greeting from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in the Jet Black Stazon ink pad.

~ Stamp the 1/2"x4-1/4" Coastal Cabana card stock and adhere inside with the Mini Dimensionals.

OK so this MAYYYY be a new FAVORITE card of mine!

Having grown up near the beaches of Southern and Central California.. this brings me such joy and I can ALMOST hear the waves crashing!

Creating an elongated card is so easy to do!

~ 8-1/2"x7" Thick Basic White card stock, scored on the 7" side at 3-1/2".

~ Copper Foil at 8-1/4"x3-1/4"

~ Naturally Gilded Designer Paper at 8"x3".

~ Powder the Naturally Gilded paper with the Embossing Buddy.

~ Stamp the Classic Letters in Versa Mark, cover with Copper Heat Embossing and heat set with the Heat tool.

~ Using the Blending Brushes and Daffodil Delight ink to create this ombre look.

~ Accent with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the Loose Frosted Dot Embellishments in the Coordinating Daffodil Delight.

~ Do the same embossing buddy, stamping in versa mark on the Copper Foil with the Irresistible Blooms flowers, die-cut with the coordinated dies and adhere.
