A Sweet Read!

Deliver a sweet treat with this yummy and quick candy-stick and bookmark.  Inspire reading adventures as you send them on their way with this snack!  These are great for parties, birthdays, gift bag or gift accents, sport teams, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, rewards and more!
Create this sweet-treat with:
1"x8" Cellophane Bags (#124134)
Whisper White Baker's Twine (#124262)
Candy of choice (M&Ms, Skittles, Jelly Beans, Candy Corn, etc.)

The secret to stuffing the Cellophane tube is to pre-open it and using a new Pencil or Chopstick, to push down the first and to keep the candy in place along the way.  I make the first candy 'flat' so that it's a proper base for the candy to lay as I want.
Using a tiny whole punch, I wrapped the top of the candy stuffed cellophane bag with the Whisper White Baker's Twine and tied on this bookmark.  It's a fun way to inspire some reading and a few smiles along the way.

On a PERSONAL NOTE... I'm an avid reader.  I have THOUSANDS of Books on my Kindle, hundreds of actual books on my shelves, boxes of books I just can't let go of... books are a magical place.  Please, inspire adventures, give the gift of reading. It's a lasting gift that will surely be cherished (I ALWAYS write a personal note inside the book when I gift one... it's amazing how I can reflect on the books my grandparents or parents have given me.. especially as they are now in Heaven.)  My many adventures, broad vocabulary and safe escapes come in the form of books and I pray to be an author some day.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone.
