Creating leaves with a punch using material can be a real challenge (or even impossible!). Here taking the Felt from my daughter's birthday party sleep mask craft (we created custom sleep masks - lol - for her sleep-over). This is not able to be punched in a paper punch. Using our new Bouquet Bigz Die (from the Occasions Mini Catalog) and Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine I can cut through two sheets of felt with ease (like butter!!).
Here die-cutting four of the smaller leaves and six of the medium leaves gives me the makings of a beautiful flower out of this ivory felt. Note the split on the bottom of each leaf. These are to be overlapped to create a curved petal.
Start with the smallest leaves and thread onto the back of our Antique Brad and overlap them as you do. The larger leaves I sewed and then added to the back of the brad and felt. Using Hot Glue to add a ribbon to the hair clip. Add the flower to the ribbon/hair clip with more hot glue.
This would be a lovely gift for a wedding bouquet, gifts for the bridal party (sorry, my oldest daughter, cousin's daughter and as of this weekend my neice are all engaged - it's on my mind) and gifts for my daughters to create for their friends.

Of course, one has to try out and model this hair bow - lol. My dear friend has a STUNNING baby girl - an answered prayer - who is full of joy and lights up the lives of all she touches. I created this pretty hand-crafted bouquet hair bow gift for this angel of a girl. I loved giving a little bit of my crafting to adorn a beautiful little baby and lovely enough to last her a long time. Give a little bit of yourself in a gift that keeps on giving. I love knowing that every time she wears this, a little bit of my love will be with her.
