We live on a small farm. This Sunday our blond Nigerian Dwarf Goat went into labor (while I was flying home from a Leadership Conference) and my son (14) and daughter (12) helped deliver three baby goats! You may not have known that I grew up across the street from Mr. and Mrs. Silva who had a large farm and taught us so much! See this card that reminded me of my brother as a little boy walking the farm with Mr. Silva.

I love this stamp set. The fine line drawings, the heartland farm feel.. it's so pretty. Create a card like this by:
~ Stamp the Very Vanilla card stock with the boy stamp in the Heartland stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
~ Die Cut the boy and a larger frame in the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper using the Stitched Framelits.
~ Color in the scene with the Blends alcohol markers.
~ Stamp the Crumb Cake card stock with the Soft Suede ink (for the Barn) and Chocolate Chip ink (for the saying).
~ Layer and adhere with the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive.
Here are our newest kids.. the four legged kind! Goat birth and babies are referred to as the Kidding Season. Our Valentina (blond goat) gave birth to two does and one buck. We expect a second kidding in three weeks or so from our brown Mocha.
Colorful yet warm and even masculine, I love this handmade card.
