Easy, Elegant.. taken UP a notch by me, just a little here.
~  Emboss the Pretty Peacock card stock with the Parisian Flourish embossing folder (this is a thicker folder, removing one plate and using the thin die-adapter is a must, instead).
~  I took it up a notch by punching the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets
(Wow - these colors!)
with the Butterfly Duet punch in two colors.
~  Emboss it in this Parisian Flourish embossing folder for a dynamic look.
~  Using a RULER (see the LIVE) to help my A-type heart create a straight line of these beautiful, embossed, fabulously colored foil butterflies and with Stampin' Mini Dimensional applied to each wing, adhere ONLY one side down as the centers line up.

Don't forget the INSIDE... the Getting Crafty LIVE Kit included two die-cut greetings from the Well Written dies - thanks and LOVE.  Here the LOVE goes on the inside, for me, to deliver some extra gratitude and love.
****
~  The Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper looks so magical with these Well Written Dies, doesn't it??
~  Adhere the greetings with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive (using a Silicone Sheet).
~  Adhere it all to the front of the Gold Foil-Edged note-cards with Stampin' Dimensionals or Mini-Glue Dots.
~  Accent with our adhesive-backed Rhinestone Jewels.
Creating something beautiful is easy with the coordinating products from Stampin' UP!  See THIS Full LIVE Right HERE (and you don't have to be on Facebook to see it!).
I love that these coordinating products create a stunning handmade card.

Creating together was such fun!  Seeing what the other ladies created and posted in our Getting Crafty Stampers group was a blast! How do you pick a favorite?!  I just can't!  Creativity abounds - all with the same materials.

Throwing ALL of the names of those who played along..

Daisies and Pearls Fashion Friday crafting

I am so very blessed to live in a beautiful community in California.  15 minutes from Malibu, 25 to the beach.. our community is nestled into a lovely little valley named after rabbits - Conejo Valley!  One of my dear friends, who happens to live in Malibu, is what I call - my Rose Gold friend.  She's beautiful inside and out, classy, sparkles and is fashion forward (as well as a fashion and jewelry designer).  So for this Fashion Friday post (Yes, I'm posting it a little early as I am off to the Getting Crafty Retreat in Pismo Beach, CA.) is inspired by my lovely friend Stacy!

Crafting and fashion go hand-in-hand!  I love that the cotton in a hand-stamped card dress can also mimic fashion.
~  Punching both the Medium Daisy and Daisy punch in the Whisper White card stock. (SAVE 10% on the Daisy Lane Bundle!!)
~  Adhere to the Basic Black card stock with our Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, using the silicone sheet to help apply the adhesive.
~  Layer over the Daffodil Delight card stock with Stampin' Dimensional adhesive.
**Note that these layers are 1/8" for a small, clean border.**
Daffodil Delight 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"
Basic Black 4-1/4" x 5-1/4"
~  Do the same with the Thick Whisper White card stock (scored at 5-1/2", cut at 4-1/4")
~  Apply our adhesive backed Pearl jewels with your Take Your Pick tool.
Don't forget the inside!
~  Stamp the inside of the card with the Daisy Lane greeting and Black Stazon ink.
~  Cut three medium punched daisies in half.
~  Apply them to the INSIDE edges!  Inspiration is all around us.
Technique:  It's subtle but fashion doesn't have to be IN your face.. this soft touch is elegant and a fun surprise!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
