York Birthday Wishes

Want to wish someone a rich, cool birthday?!?!

OK so if you haven't figured it out, it's my favorite candy bar - the York Peppermint Patty!!
The Pacific Point card stock base and Aluminum Foil (yes, from my kitchen - it's a sure fire way to secure a Sharp and Shiny metal look) this card comes to life!
Foil is a delicate material - not used (often) for crafting... but cutting it with my Stampin' Trimmer was easy peasy!!  Running it through my Big Shot (Idea Book & Catalog) and the Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Spring Mini).  What a sharp and yet lacy look!
Ohhhh - seeing it come to life gives me the urge to rip open this wrapper... but I digress.
Running a Pacific Point card stock through the Big Shot and the Paper Doily Sizzlits L this sweet center is ideal and so pretty when layered over the Whisper White card stock. 

Heat Embossing in Silver this Curly Cute Greetings stamp set on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  The silver is ideal, my children call it magic, heat embossing is such a cool technique!  Embossing with the use of our Big Shot and the Heat Embossing is such fun! (two different ways to achieve texture and dimension)
I'm sooo tempted to nibble...
the thin layer of dark chocolate,
the white, crisp, cool taste of the peppermint...
Sigh.... OK back to my crafting...
BAM!
This cool treat is accented by our Brights Designer Buttons in Real Red and Rhinestone Basic Jewels (Idea Book & Catalog) adhesive backed bling and the Large Rhinestones (Spring Mini) continue the feel of the sparkle and shine.  The Real Red is a great way to break up the blue and silver theme.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone.
