One of my favorite cartoons as a child was Chilly Willy... lol..
Too, I love FROSTY the Snow Man... these are great retro cartoons!
These cards embrace my two favorite Cartoons in a fun way. These were similar to the design in our Idea Book. One of my Stampers, Ashley, purchased this stamp set, doily die and then felt stumped. I like to remind people that the Idea Book and Catalog is just that.. an Idea Book! Take these ideas and RUNnnnn...
(See this idea as it was copied and changed from the Idea Book, Pg 23).
Here is a Nod to Frosty... lol...
Both Cards are Bashful Blue. The Designer Series Paper is from our Holiday Mini... the Fun Collection of Papers in the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack.
(This Catalog/Idea Mini goes until January 2nd... get your favorites ASAP!)
Whisper White Card Stock is ideal for the New Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L and Big Shot. It creates the Doily that looks like a Snowflake in this format! Stampin' Dimensionals add depth between each layer, too.
The 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch punches out the stamped with Stazon Black Ink Snowman and Penguin. To create a subtle layer - Taking the Sponge Dauber in the Darker 'Sibling'/Monochromatic suggested color is Baja Breeze and Daub the edges of the Scallop Circled image so that the two layers of White are seperate. Too, the Edge of the DSP (Designer Series Paper).
Add a 'Carrot' Nose with our Basic Jewels Rhinestones and an Orange Sharpie! Color it in and the adhesive back allows for it to stick and stay!
The Snow Ball in his hands is fun and in the center of the Baja Breeze 'Jolly Christmas' greeting stamp from this new No Peeking stamp set.
Here this Chilly Willy Rocks the Googlies from our Holiday Mini and taking the Black Sharpie to our Rhinestone Jewels. It's a fun spin on the season and a great nod to a retro cartoon.
I'm in California and rarely snowy... but this brings a fun chill to my holiday season! Have a Jolly Christmas!!
Here is Chilly's Theme Song - about 30 seconds long... it takes me back.. lol..
I hope you enjoyed these chilly wishes!
