A Sweeeeet Little Girl deserves a Sweet Card!
My Best Friend's Daughter, Becca,
inspired this sweet ice cream cone birthday card....
With a few swipes of a baby wipe and the use of our
FREE (during Sale~A~Bration!) Diagonal Score Board
this 3D card comes to life....
Accented by the FREE (during Sale~A~Bration)
Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons as highlights to this card... the Large Pearl from the Jewels Pack is a perfect fit!
Our Simply Scored Board is AMAZING...
with many different possibilities...
It creates a fun texture here with the Diagonal board
(free during Sale~A~Bration w/every $50 purchase - pick any one item!) and see the NEW Boarders Scoring Plate (Spring Mini). Creating this pattern is ideal for the 'cone'!
Taking a Baby Wipe and applying a couple of drops of Pretty In Pink Re-Inker - I swirled it across the top of the Glossy White Card stock... it reminds me of a Frozen Yogurt that my girls would eat!
Using the Apothecary Accents Framelits and Big Shot I punched out this 'ice cream' and cut it in 1/2! I can now make more than one card!
Cutting a 1/2" strip as the cone lip I built this card....
The Perfectly Penned Happy Birthday is an ideal sentiment for this vintage card.... doesn't ice cream cones make you feel a little vintage?? Another 'frame' popped out with the Apothecary Accents framelits!
Layered over this STUNNING and Vintage
More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (Spring Mini!) goes to show that it's great for non-Valentine's cards, too!
Using my Hot Glue Gun and I created this 3D look... Simply adhere one side and then bow the other before applying the hot glue! I then applied the cone 'lip' to the 'ice cream' and adhered and bowed it the same way... the same with the sentiment! It is not too bowed so it's still perfect to ship!
My BFF is a wonderful woman - all pink, her and her daughter, lol... I know that my 'neice', as I think of her, Becca will LOVE this card for her 8th Birthday! This little love of a girl deserves sweets and hearts on her day!
The Great thing is that though I'm in California, she's in Texas (boooo) I can send her this love and feel like I'm celebrating with her!
How can YOU use paper's ear marked for an occasion
(like this More Amore DSP) for other occasions?!?! Christmas Paper for Valentines or Birthdays?!?!
Have fun and don't let labels limit you or box you in!
See what item(s) are YOUR favorite in the Spring Mini and Sale~A~Bration mini... let me know by leaving me a comment and I will make a card with it!!
FANTASTIC...
