Do you LOVE Stained Glass...
as much as Iiiiiiii do??
I couldn't resist combining my a few of my favorite things...
Butterflies
Stained Glass
and Cards!!!!

the Swallowtail butterfly large/background stamp from the Spring Mini Black Embossing powder and Heat Gun

Heat Setting is easy and a sure way to WOW!
Using the NEW Stampin' Spritzer from the Idea Book (p.179) I filled it with Water!
A spritz on the embossed butterfly allows for the water to pool in the embossed 'pockets'.
(This Stampin' Spritzer is great - with the ReInker and some water you can create any color spritz you want!)
Here it is while wet!
Using the Real Red, Pacific Point and the Pumpkin Pie ReInkers and my Aqua Painter to pull up and paint the ink into the pools of water.
Starting with the Pumpkin Pie in the center I blended in the Real Red and then added the Pacific Point to the center and blended it a little.
It will look like a hot mess... but grabbing a paper towel and blotting you see the WONDER of the project! I used my Heat Gun on the first setting I dried up the last bits of water.
The Vellum allows for the see through feel of the Stained Glass window.
Cutting out the Vellum Heat Embossed Swallowtail is easy to cut out and a WOW when placed on the reflective Whisper White card stock. The Mini Glue Dots hold it and are clear so as to not take away from the beauty of it all.
The cut out image and Mini Glue Dots allow for it to 'float' as it's held down in random places.
It still has a life to it but the elegance of stained glass.
I LOVE the way the Color Coach helps my Project to POP!
I wouldn't have picked these colors
but am so loving how it came out!
Bring on the Cake has a wonderful collection of Birthday Sentiments...
Sending this off to my amazing Upline, Susie, who was the 42nd person to EVER sign up with Stampin' Up! She is celebrating her 25th Anniversary with the Company, along side Shelli Gardner who started the company! I was blessed to pick Susie to be my upline, 7 years ago - two weeks before having our daughter Genevieve. As Susie's birthday was this week and Genevieve's birthday is tomorrow - I wanted to send a spectacular card to celebrate our special relationship!
