Trust in The Lord

My Brother~In~Law is a great guy.
Probably one of the best dressed guys I know,
the original 'Metro' well groomed men...
 
During this time of struggle, as he fights Cancer,
I wanted to send him a 'well dressed' card to let him know that we are thinking and praying for him daily...
HERE is my card, what do you think?!?!
Heat Embossing the Dapper Dad shoe (Spring Mini) with Black embossing powder and our light weight and quiet heat gun - this shoe comes out glossy and sharp. 
 
Heat Embossing 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding' from the Trust God stamp set (Idea Book & Catalog) on the Black card stock gives a contrast look with a sharp look.
(Perfect for the sharply dressed man, don't you think?!?!)

The Argyle Folder and Big Shot mimic the pattern w/ a textured and raised argyle - like in the shoe.
Tie it up with this sharp and crisp Basic Black (with white trim) 1/8: Taffeta Ribbon.  This breaks up the two patterns while adding an additional richness.  Making it clean and neat by wrapping the edges around the back adds to the precision of this card and style.
 
Cards are a wonderful way to send love, brighten someones day and stand shoulder to shoulder with someone -
even from many miles away.
 
Many different cards and styles can easily be expressed when you have different stamps and styles.  My husband is NOT Metro - lol - but more outdoors, sports and hanging by the pool.  My Brother In Law is stylish and polished.  I love that we can share our love to other's styles so that they know that they are important, no matter their style!

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
