Black Ball Point Pen...
Inspired by this sweet Pin off of Pinterest... when a Scrapbook Page can inspire a sweet card, I could always use an excuse to scroll along the Pinterest road... (te, he, he)
Punching these circles out of the Fan Fair DSP and alternating sides, build a circle of circles.
I'm showing this backwards... but...
Layer the Piercing Guide Circle over the circle and pierce on top of the mat. (This is very quick when you have these easy guides and the right tools.)
Connect the dots... literally.... with my black inked pen. I loosely stitched these as I wanted a real stitched look and when I sew, lol, it may look just like this!
Easy and fun, my kids can even do this!
With Island Indigo ink (#126986) stamped on the printed Pink Pirouette DSP this layers over with our Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive (#104430) for a little more depth.
Alternating sides of the punched Bitty Butterflies ties in as it's coordinated and adds a funky element!
Stitched with out any string - it looks and even feels pretty real - while created in less than a minute!
I love that inspiration can come from others... I haven't 'fake' stitched in quite a while and rarely build anything out of my punches... so this took me out of my comfort zone while creating a beautiful, clean and quick project!
What do you think?
What element do YOU like on this card??
