Happy Mother's Day

Every Mother has her day...
Mother's Day is once a year, so try to make it special!
Joining up with a friend of mine, she handed out 15 cards to young girls in her bible study who didn't have cards or funds for their moms, to moms who are struggling that she knows...
 
Blessing others is the key to feeling rewarded while connected!  HERE with our Apothecary Art (#125527) stamped in our Certainly Celery* ink (#126958) and on our Whisper White card stock (#100730) for a sweet card!
 
Layered over our Certainly Celery* card stock (#126958) that the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Embossing Folder* (#114517), the Big Shot (#113439) added a sweet and elegant roses to! 
Layering this stamped image over the with the Labels Collection Framelits (#125598), our Big Shot (#113439) and our Twitterpated* Designer Series Paper (#125406).  The Baja Breeze* color is accented with our Stampin' Write Marker's fine point in the roses of the stamped image.

Stamping a smaller sentiment can be challenging to lay straight.  HERE is an easy fix... stamp the sentiment with our Baja Breeze* ink and then PUNCH IT OUT!  When you punch out sentiments (any time Iiiii punch out items) I punch upside down so it's easy to see and line up!  Word Window (#119857) is a great punch to have!  Sponging the edges with Certainly Celery* and my Sponge Dauber (#102892) adds some dimension and fun!
 Give roses that never die, won't leave behind any mess to clean up and will bring continual cheer!
 
Here with texture, elegance and dimension, this card is sure to bless mothers of any kind!
 
I'm blessed to have a Mom, a beloved Aunt, my amazing Nanna (who has since passed away), a couple of older sisters, some amazing ladies from church and life... I've had teachers, friends and moms of friends.... all have blessed me by being there and lifting me up when I needed.
 
One doesn't retire when one is a mom....

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
