Teacher Board

Doing a teacher's job is tougher these days...
with the many kids they have they have one or more families per child.. curriculum, homework, emails, calls, room moms and families to communicate with... HOW DO THEY DO IT ALLLLL?!?!
 
Writing it down... many, many lists!
This is my attempt to make a pretty and re-usable list for our Eco-Friendly School/Teachers!
Our Storytime* Designer Series Paper (#126907) is stunning!  Sweet vintage feel (and soon to RETIRE*!) that is timeless - much like vintage childhood books.  Using this Designer Series Paper as the perfect 'Teacher' backdrop in this beautiful frame... it's easy and sure to encourage her to use this! 
I LOVE the Ruler page and used part of it (in her favorite Green - there are many colors on one sheet) and accented this childhood scene page. 
Cutting a sheet of our Whisper White card stock (#100730) into the 8" x 10" size and adhering the separate pieces into one. 
Yes... this 'ruler' page is actually the measurements of a RULER... I love it!
Accenting it with our beautiful Glimmer Paper... here the Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) is a perfect pop of 'teacher red' (who knew there wassss such a color?!?!).  Our Big Shot (#113439) and our Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies (#127553) makes it easy to cut ANY letter and look coordinated!  (CLICK HERE and see how to get these or any of our items as a Hostess to a Private Class for 1/2 OFF!!)
It's a Blank Slate for a great 'Thank You' note to a wonderful woman who has taught two of my kids with two more lined up to come through her class in the near future... she's refined, honest, funny, smart, strong and oh so soft spoken... I just love her!
After a year of teaching our kiddos... I wrote a sweet note with a Vis a Vis pen (wet erase vs. dry erase - it doesn't bump off but can be wiped off - you won't lose your much needed notes with a bump... so worth the effort to locate them!) and included a list of her summer-should-do's... especially as her beautiful daughter prepares to head to college!
It's sure to look smart on her desk or framed near her computer.  I hope, too, as she uses it that she is reminded of how we look up to her and admire her!
 
I have a tendency to pick up crafting stuff as I see it... so I have a collection of frames, tools, baskets, etc.  It's fun to have options and on-hand so I don't have to scramble and run somewhere on my limited time!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
