Cool Cross

Our niece is celebrating her Confirmation in the Catholic Church... so we prepare to celebrate her and this commitment, I couldn't resist creating a very cool and trendy card for a cool and trendy girl!
Our Island Indigo was an in-color for us the past two years and has since moved in and joined the Regals Collection... YEAH!! 
 
Here the Island Indigo card stock (#122923) makes a fun and trendy base for this modern cross card!  Our New Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper  (#130141) is a fun and color popping packet of paper (it also has two beautiful patterned window sheets - sooo much fun!!).
This stunning stamp set... just retired (booooo!!)  but it lives on and is busy in my personal collection!!
Pulling together colors is easier than ever with one of myyyy favorite tools.. the Color Coach (#130118)!!  It pairs up three ways and is sure to help you make your projects look pulled together and POP!
 
The Introduction of New Colors and Retirement of Others... the NEW Color Coach is a MUST!!
Here I pulled Island Indigo ink (#126986) and our Pool Party ink (#126982) for a Monochromatic Match (paired together with the aide of our Color Coach!).
OK So I'm allllll about subtle matching!  I love that this paper color coordinates as does the Mosaic patterns!  Pattern up the Quatrafancy paper pattern with our Modern Mosaic embossing folder (#129984) and our Big Shot (#113439).... the little touches really add up!
Adding elements of the Mosaic Madness stamp set (#130249) and pairing it with our Labels Collection framelits (#125598), our Modern Mosaic embossing folder (#129984) and the Mosaic punch (#131267). 
 
I love that the Labels collection are a subtle match!!  Don't you love it when a look comes together to look polished??
 
Adding sublet touches to the inside of the card continues the feel and adds to the modern/trendiness of this card. 
 
Kaitlyn is a trendy girl - so into fashion (she gets it from me... oh, wait... lol - she's my sister-in-law's daughter... she really inherited her love of fashion from BOTH her Dad and Mom, ha, ha, ha....).
 
I hope that this sweet 16 year old, taking this important step in her faith and life, while looking fabulous doing so... will be blessed beyond measure!
Remember, there are several sides to a card - continue your crafting and stamping fun when you stamp and add embellishments to the inside and even back!!

Sponging the edges of this card with our Pool Party ink (#126982) and Stamping Sponges (#101610) soften the edges of this Label collection framelit punched centerpiece... it softens the edges while pulling it together!

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
