Incentives in my home can range from a sweet treat to crafting time with Momma! Even my son enjoys crafting (Shrink A Dinks, etc). Thissss is a card my 5 year old created this evening as a reward for her taking a nap and doing a great job with the dishes!
(andddd this was from scraps.. by HER design - WOW!)
In preparation for my upcoming class.. this scrap wasn't what I'd envisioned... my daughter took our Big Shot (#113439) and Dress Up Framelits (#130101) to punch out this dress from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack (#130132) in our NEW Smoky Slate color!!
She wanted to lay this over a Real Red (#102482) card stock that we mimicked the pattern on the Smoky Slate Designer Series Paper with our Fancy Fan embossing folder (#127751).
Heat Embossing Silver (#109131) embossing powder with our quiet Heat Tool (#129053) this New and Beautiful Lovely Romance stamp set (#130264) really accented the richness to this stamp set. Isn't that flower and sentiment just lovely??
Accenting this card with Pops of RED jewels.. my Carina loved taking the Red Sharpie to our adhesive backed Rhinestone Basic Jewels collection.. the connecting jewels make an ideal belt and one dash in the flower ties it all together! (It's FUN and Easy for a 5 year old - to an 85 year old to do!!)
Here is my little Carina... she had such fun pulling this together! Iiii enjoyed our time together (with so many little ones running about - capturing random one-on-one time is a rare and precious jewel to cherish).
Don't toss out your scraps when an idea doesn't pull together.. consider what else you can do with it!
I doooo love the project I did come create for my class... Click HERE to see my Fun Classes and to RSVP!! Live Out of Myyyy Area?? Look back, soon, as I will be offering a Special Class for YOU!
