Do you ever resent wasted paper?? I love the look of banners but am often frustred by the paper that is unusable. In our Eco-Friendly world, my stamping friends often take my extras and use them in their other projects.
HERE is a fun and easy project to do with
NO Wasted Paper or Time while
PACKED with FUN!
Using our Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper (#130814) cut into 6" x 6" squares.
Using our Stampin' Trimmer (#126889) and SCORE at 3" (down the middle).
CUT the now SCORED line (at the 3" point) with the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439), Big Shot Magnetic Platform (#130658), zig-zag Finishing Touches Edgelits. (The Magnetic Platform holds the Edgelit EXACTLY where I want it - on that scored 3" line!)
CUT these strips at 2" intervals and the Designer Series Paper is not wasted!
Here with the Typeset Alphabet Bigz (#127553) the letters F A M I L Y. Adhere them over this Daffodil Delight (#119683) card stock that was punched with the 1-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.
The SNAIL adhesive (104332) allows for this to stick together (like a family should) with clean lines and layering.
String it together, our Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (#126872) for a clean look that mimics the pattern in the Epic Day paper.
This zig-zag look is ideal, it's the same on both sides!
What a FUN Swap this was at Convention!
My girlfriends and roomies loved this banner, it's easy creation and conservation of paper!
