Truly Grateful

Being Grateful is a great reason to celebrate.  Celebrate those in you life that support, encourage and love on you!  Sending a hand-made note is sure to warm their hearts while celebrating something and someone special!

This lovely Truly Grateful stamp set (#131733 Holiday Catalog pg. 19) is elegant, fine lines and warm.  I'm a girl who loves sketch-styled stamps and this is a lovely collection.
Chevron images are all the rage.  Mimicking patterns is easier than ever... using the Crumb Cake card stock (#120953) for the card base, the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439) and Chevron Embossing Folder.  Rubbing Crumb Cake ink on the raised image for a distressed look is fun (my kids love this portion) when you use our Stamping Sponges (#101610).

Here the Chevron printed wood stamp inked in Crumb Cake ink (#126975) lays on this Crumb Cake polka dot patterned Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack (#132181 Holiday Catalog pg. 22).  Mixing two cool and popular patterns (Polka Dot and Chevron) makes for a fun and trendy monochromatic look.  I love how it really changes the look of the Season of Style paper to something new!
With accenting the 1-1/4" Burlap Ribbon (#132140 - Holiday catalog pg. 18) cut so that it shreds.. this is a fun and rustic accent.

Heat Emboss the Passle of Wheat after you PREP the stamped paper with the Embossing Buddy (#103083).  Stamp the image with our Versa Mark pad (#102283).  Cover with Early Espresso Embossing Powder (#128980) and set with our Heat tool (#129053).  It's sharp and monochromatic.

My Color Coach (#130118) pairs So Saffron with Crumb Cake... here the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker (#131263 for the Subtles Stampin' Write Marker Collection).
Stamping the Acorn on So Saffron card stock (#105118) with Crumb Cake ink (#126975).  Powder with the Embossing Buddy and then the Versa Mark Pad, Early Espresso Embossing Powder the sentiment.
Ripped Edges flow with the distressed look.  Sponging the edges with the Crumb Cake ink and Stamping Sponge.  It ages and softens the look.
Warm, Natural, Distressed, Trendy... kind of a description of me.... lol.  To say I'm Grateful... it's hardly enough.  I've been so very blessed with amazing friends, a family who supports my passions and efforts, Class Attendees, Hostesses, On-Line Friends, Business Encouragement and Support... to say I'm blessed and grateful is not enough but it still says so much!

I'm Truly Grateful that you have come by today and that you support my love of crafting!  Please be encouraged to JOIN ME on My Team, My Classes, Mailing List, Virtual Club...

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
