Gift Card as a Present! How to "Wrap" a Gift Card!!

It seems like Presents for my oldest daughters, their cousins and friends, usually comes down to cash or gift cards.  Sometimes, this gift giving girl misses wrapping a gift!!  So taking this fun idea of wrapping a gift and gift cards... I combined the two for this fun gift card... card.

What do you think?!?  Leave me a comment and let me know!  Pin, Email, Facebook, Tweet and SHARE this card (and me)!  Follow me on these channels, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and more, too!
Using the New and Awesome Envelope Punch Board (#133774), the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper (#130145) to create this cute card... that wraps up a Gift Card!
The Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper incorporates the Bermuda Bay, Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green.. this fun pattern has the cutest Polka Dot pattern, too!  So grabbing the Bermuda Bay card stock (#131197), Big Shot (#113439) and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (#117335) to create this fun textured card.  Running the Gumball Green card stock (#126840) and Raspberry Ripple card stock (#126842) for accent pieces.
Mixing the colors is a fun way to add variety while keeping this in a fun bold colored card.  Accenting this card with the Gumball Green Satin Stitched Ribbon (#126848) and Raspberry Ripple Satin Stitched Ribbon (#126845) and the coordinating In-Color Dahlias (#127556).
Creating this bow accent allows for this 'wrapped gift' to remain closed while easily opened.

Our Designer Series Paper is Double Sided!!  Making for an easy and coordinating 'envelope liner' to any envelope you create with it!!  I love looking doubly good, don't you?!?!  Click HERE to see all of our Papers, Stamps, Tools and more Paper Crafting products!  Earn Frequent Buyer Points, too, for Exclusive Bonus Goodies from ME!!
It's fun to have our coordinating packets of Designer Series Papers!  The packets are designed to coordinate and look good.  Taking this numbered piece of paper to create this cute 'wrapped gift' for the gift card.  The Envelope Punch Board makes it easy to create a variety of 66 envelopes!
A cute small bow... yes, please!  Having this Perfect Polka Dot embossed card stock, the Large Oval punch (#119855) and these cute Dahlia Accents, my Hot Glue Gun and Silicone Craft Sheet* (#127853) to create these cute bows! Once cooled, they peel right off with no tearing! (*I just love this tool!)
Placing a 1/2" bead of hot glue on the Silicone Craft Sheet.  Folding these punched ovals and having the open ends touch.  Hold for a count of 10 or so.  Adding a dot of hot glue and apply the dahlia for a center 'knot'.
Adhering the ribbon to appear like a wrapped gift is easy.  Hot glue the bottom of the 'bow' to create a 'lip'.  Tuck the envelope flap under to bow to hold in the gift card.  This allows for easy opening and closing.  The custom sized envelope holds in this gift of a gift card for a unique 'wrapped' gift.
What a gift it is to have you come by!  I try to post daily and hope to see you back and often.  Bring your friends and family along with you!!

How do YOU Wrap or Gift a gift card?!?  Isn't this just a fun way to do so instead of a gift card, or cash, falling out when they open the card.  So, go ahead, purchase those gift cards... and have fun wrapping it up!!  My girls, in their 20's, and their cousins... are sure to love this gift... and I still feel the need to wrap up something pretty!!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
