Not all Christmas cards need to be 'traditional' in color to scream 'tradition'! Here is a nod to those first creators of cards.. Those who, during the Victorian era, make beautiful original cards... and they stood out for their craft and showing that they care!

For this pretty, vintage hand-stamped card you will need:
Pistachio Pudding card stock (#131294)
Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper (#130144)
Island Indigo ink (#126986)
Early Espresso Baker's Twine (#123124)
Mosaic Punch (#131267)
Delightful Dozen stamp set (#122652)
Delicate Designs embossing folder (#127023)
Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439)
Stamp this beautiful scrolled sentiment with Island Indigo ink on this patterned piece of Venetian Romance paper. I think it reminds of a vintage stained glass window.
Punching 6 Mosiac shapes from this piece of Venetian Romance. The paper is double sided so these two patterns are designed to coordinate while showing a beautiful mixed medium look. Here it reminds me of blown glass... so pretty and vintage!
With my Hot-Glue gun, Adhere the bakers twine down so it mimics the cascading ornaments. Fold three in half and adhere the halves together... then over the baker's twine. (I always caution that Hot Glue is HOT! so always take extra care when working with it.)
Adding this lace embossing to the bottom of the card continues the vintage feel. Layering this beautiful stamped and ornament created item above it and you have completed a beautiful, unique card that will stand out above the rest.. even if it issss non-traditional in color... it expresses your love this holiday season!
