Pop of Poppies hand-stamped, embossed card

Pops of color!  I love color and this fun technique that creates a cool pop of color on this hand-stamped, heat embossed poppy card.  Send some cheer and color with this cool, quick punch accented card.  (Does this count as 'Pop Art'? lol)
Create this card with:
Daffodil Delight card stock (#119683)
Basic Black card stock (#121045)
Whisper White card stock (#100730)
Brights Stampin' Write Markers (#131259)
Pleasant Poppies background stamp (#129499)
Label Love stamp set (#130622)
Embossing Buddy (#103083)
Versa Mark pad (#102283)
Black Embossing Powder (#109133)
White Embossing Powder (#109132)
Heat Tool (#129053)
1-3/4" Circle Punch (#119850)
Artisan Label Punch (#130920)
Preparing both the Basic Black and Whisper White card stocks with the Embossing Buddy you will create a cleaner embossed image. 
 
Stamp the Versa Mark inked Pleasant Poppies background stamp on the prepped Basic Black card stock.  Cover with the White Embossing Powder.  Heat set for this raised, embossed white Poppy image on the Black card stock.  Very Art Deco looking!
 
Here using the 1-3/4" Circle Punch, pop a Whisper White circle out.  Chose what you want highlighted and rub it on that area of the stamp.  Cover with the Black Embossing Powder and Heat set with the Heat Tool.
 
Color in the Whisper White circle of Poppies with the Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers for this pop of bright color. 
 
Much like a puzzle, find where this image was and adhere... I like using the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive for more 'pop', lol.
Stamp this Label Love greeting with Versa Mark ink on Daffodil Delight card stock.  Cover with Black embossing powder and heat set for a polished, coordinated look.  Using the Artisan coordinating Label punch you can easily pop out the greeting. 
 
Balance the greeting and the pop of color circle on the card for this cool look.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
