Thanks for being mine! Hand-stamped card

'Be Mine' a typical statement, during Valentines, that is pretty special (when it's meant).  It means more when it comes to my little angels... my babies.  So creating this cute Valentine's card with my daughter's Kinder class was a fun way to let the kids show that they love their parents... and that they are glad to belong to them!  This fun embossed, hand-stamped card was quick and fun... perfect for a group of 5 to 6 year olds!!

Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#113439)

Using our Big Shot is a fun and easy way to show the kids Simple Machines!  Our school teaches this fun lesson... and here using the Big Shot to modify paper with embossing is a fun way to see the kid's eyes light up while they have fun demonstrating how 'strong' they are! 
Embossing the Whisper White card stock with the cute Adoring Accent embossing folder (there are three in this collection, the hearts are ideal for Valentine's). 
 
The kids had a blast using the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits to emboss and die-cut the Real Red hearts!! Raise them above the Whisper White card stock with the Stampin' Dimensional adhesive (cut these easily with our Paper Snips for the small hearts). 
We had our High School helper assist the stamping of the 'Thanks for being mine' sentiment from the Love You to the Moon stamp set!!  I love that this two color, sharp and heart filled card says it all!!  The kids really loved stamping, embossing and hand-writing the notes inside to their families!
 
Here our little angel just loved 'showing off' her mad stamping and Big Shot skills!!  She was the first to demonstrate creating this pretty card and her friends were highly impressed!  We even had the Student Teachers and Subs pop over and create one for their fiancés... they were excited to create a pretty hand-stamped card before heading off to lunch!  (22 kids and three aides created cards in just over one hour!!  impressive how a cute card doesn't require a ton of time!)

So as I cling onto my kiddos and precious moments like this.. I am glad that they are mine and that I'm theirs!!  God has entrusted me with the most precious gifts in these angels... so I thank Him for them 'being mine' and me 'being His'.  Creating this card with the 22 students and helpers was a blast!  Have fun this Valentines and show your love with a quick, clean and easy embossed and hand-stamped card.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone.
