A Legacy of Faith, Family and Love Documented

Celebrating a legacy of Faith, Family and Love.. where our my beloved Grandfather built the church that my nephew, his wife and children are the Pastors shows that 100 years of Faith is still continuing on today!  Bringing my children to my old stomping grounds and walking the same wooden stairs that I did as a child, standing and snuggling babies in the Parsonage that my Grandfather built (and has housed four generations of our family) and walking to see old friends while celebrating new memories... it's the simple things that fill my heart.  Join me and let me share these sweet memories..

Jody is now the Pastor at the church my Grandparents built over 80 years ago.  With many generations of pastors, our family and others, having lead this church, it's amazing to see it still standing and growing.  His family lives in the Parsonage (this is a home in the back of the church for the Pastor's family).  Having had grown up there as a teen and now having his own teens in the same home - it is a cool feeling.  Holding my niece's daughter and snuggling her in the same home that I did it with her mother, it means the world to me!  Giving memories like this to our children and seeing them having fun with their cousins... what a blessing!!

When Documenting and Celebrating our life, half the battle is getting my pictures printed from my iPhone.  I now keep a stock of books ready at hand (and print them as I go along) and then have a stash of our Project Life cards and accessory collections and 12" pages.  I LOVE how the card and accessory collections all keep together and store in a minimal amount of space.  I can now quickly create and celebrate our life - and QUICK is the Key!  I'm a mom of 6 - it has to be easy, fun, good looking and quick for me to be able to use it.

Seeing my kids stand on the same steps and hunt for Easter Eggs in the same grassy area of the church that I did... what an amazing circle of life!  Knowing that my Grandfather built and helped to maintain this church, while my kids are standing with their cousins on the same steps.. there are no words.  I know that our grandparents are looking down and smiling at this new generation of busy kids.
 
Finding the time to document and celebrate our memories (now that I actually get my digital photos printed - lol) is hard to do.  Scheduling and finding time to share it with y'all is just a great way to get me doing our documenting (Happy Memory Celebrating Monday)!

When you have a church that was built over 80 years ago that has a new generation of our family serving in it... it's a blessed legacy to share with my family.  I love Jody and his wife Vanessa and how they are keeping our family's legacy of love, faith and family alive in the same place that we all grew up in!  I pray that these pages of our time together will be looked back on and show how blessed we are.  What do YOU Celebrate and Document?  Leave me a comment and let me know!

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
