Blooming birthday hand-stamped card

Today our family gathered to celebrate my Mother-In-Law's 75th birthday.  With my husband, his two sisters and most of our kids we enjoyed BBQ (my hubby barbequed the Tri-Tip and Chicken in 109* heat!!), homemade chocolate cake and quality family time.  Creating a hand-stamped birthday card that embodies my Mother-In-Law's love of gardening was easy with this new Park Lane Designer Series Paper and Blooming with Kindness stamp set to give an elegant birthday card.

My in-laws have the most lush garden!  With a massive food area and flowers worked in - they grow enough food to feed a small town and make the tables pretty!  I don't have their mad skills (or time).  I love when my father-in-law picks flowers for his wife and in small Pellegrino water bottles as vases, brings the pretty inside.  My Mother-In-Law can grow the most lush and colorful flowers (and while they live in the desert)!!  So this card is classic and inspired by her green thumb.
 
This flower from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set warms the corner of this Whisper White card stock thanks to the Calypso Coral ink.  The sentiment with the Old Olive ink.  Pulling colors from the inspirational Park Lane Designer Series Paper gives my card a warm and elegant look.

I debated creating a card that had flowers and a '75' on it for my Mother-in-Law's birthday but color, nature and warmth are more her style.  This card is personalized right to Maria's style and that's a fun way to show that you care!  Create a hand-stamped card that celebrates that special person and show that you care.  Our stamps, paper and inks all perfectly coordinate so that I look amazing and it was fun while easy to create!  (Perfect for a mom of 6 - lol.)  So as flowers will die, this card will live on and delight for a long time.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by.
