Enjoy the ride Vespa hand-stamped card

I'm married to an Italian man.  When he discusses Italy, he talks about his love of riding Vespas with his Uncles and Cousins... so this hand-stamped, card is in honor of my hubby and his love of these little scooters.  I love the deep coloring attained with the new Blendabilities (that are now available).  It's fun and easy to create this clean card that highlights what was so important to my husband.  Now, he may like the Vespas of his youth but I'm all about the Harley - lol - so hmm... the next set we need... lol.
Create this clean card with:
Chalk Lines (Photopolymer 135005)
Today and Everyday stamp set (wood 134129/clear 134132)
Whisper White card stock (100730)
Cherry Cobbler card stock (119685)
Cherry Cobbler Blendabilites Markers (130995)
Daffodil Delight Blendabilites Markers (130998)
Memento ink pad (132708)
Silver Stampin' Dazzle Marker (128978)
Neutrals Stampin' Write Markers (131261)
Stampin' Dimensional Adhesive (104430)
Stampin' Trimmer (126889)

Creating a colorful scooter was fun!  Stamp the image from the Today and Everyday stamp set on Whisper White card stock with the Memento ink pad.  Starting with the lightest color of Daffodil Delight ink for the 'light' the shadow the edges with the 'medium'.  Color the bulk of the Vespa with the Cherry Cobbler 'light' darken areas with the 'medium' then the darkest areas, minimally used - unless it's the seat, with the 'dark'.

When you purchase the Blendabilites Markers, now available, from me you receive an exclusive tutorial video and four fun crafted cards - using the Blendabilities - as BONUSES!!

Frame up the this colored scooter with the 'Chalk Lines' Photopolymer edge stamp.  Just using the same, Memento ink pad - instead of grabbing another ink pad, to stamp this 'road' on the Cherry Cobbler card stock.
Adding Silver to the Rims with the Silver Stampin' Dazzle Marker.  Creating these tires using the Basic Grey Stampin' Write Marker (from the Neutrals Stampin' Write Marker Collection).  This allows the Black from the Memento ink pad to show through.

*Shhh - a quick crafting secret!!  The Stampin' Trimmer is awesome!!  I love that the same track has the Score and Cutting Blades!  Simply score the full card stock of the Cherry Cobbler at the 5-1/2" mark.  Turn the card stock and cut at the 4-1/4" mark.  Bone and you now have TWO Cards ready to quickly use!  Simply stick the extra card in your 'drawer' and you have a 'ready-made, hand-stamped card' for that quick need!!

Create a hand-stamped card that is quick, personalized, clean and easy!  With deep coloring and shadowing (it always makes me feel like a rock-star artist to use these Blendabilies Markers).  No matter how bumpy the road - try to enjoy it!  These fun new stamp sets drive in some smiles!  So have fun in your paper crafting and send a Vespa inspired card!!  Sometimes less is more, this colorful hand-stamped card is just that, yet is still is lovely!

What Others are SAYING about Getting Crafty with Jamie

Jamie is so passionate and creative about making cards - and wants everyone else to join her in the fun! She is so encouraging and positive in her attitude, helping me along when I get frustrated - and then rejoicing with me at the finished product! I love going to her classes to get new ideas, learn techniques, and have loads of fun in the process. ~ Christine C.

Jamie has wicked awesome classes! If you don’t like a particular stamp or paper/ink color Jamie wants you to change it to suit your style! I did my sister-in-law’s entire bridal shower from invitations/thank you cards, party favors to decorations, it was quaint and whimsical! Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d! I’ve had lots of special requests for classes and Jamie delivers; she always has tasty treats and flavored coffees too ~Ashley W.

I have been attending Jamie's classes for over a year. Her ideas for cards are fresh and fun. She always tries to have several different styles of cards available, so everyone gets to make cards that fit their personal style. The techniques she shows each class can be used in many different applications. She is very patient teacher when instructing class members on how to use the Stampin Up products. ~ Carol D.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. She is a beautiful friend and she will become yours too. ~ Blessings, Karen:-)

Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations. I love that she is always flexible for last-minute decision maker mommies like me! So much fun to host craft events with your friends and family - that personal touch always means so much. ~ Adonna
