Pretty Swell ocean inspired hand-stamped card

I love bodies of water!  Most vacations that our family goes on is near a lake or ocean.  When this new Big On You stamp set came out in the Occasions Mini Catalog I was over the moon!  I couldn't wait to create a hand-stamped card that embraced the swells of water.  What a fun way to send a hand-crafted card and some warmth in the midst of winter!

I just love this new Big On You stamp set from the New Occasions Catalog (LIVE Today!!).  The large and fun text is perfect for stylish and easy hand-stamped card.

Prepare the surface of this Very Vanilla card stock with the Embossing Buddy for a clean stamped image.  Stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark ink.  Cover with the Clear Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.  Stamp the Chalk Lines boarder stamp with the Bermuda Bay ink pad.  Rub the surface so that the embossed sentiment pops through.

Create a Mask!  Stamp the image on a sticky note and cut across the top.  Layer over the stamped 'waves' created by the Chalk Lines stamp set.  
Cover the top half with the Brayer and the Crisp Cantaloupe ink.  Simply using a napkin to wipe the embossed sentiment will make the ink wipe off and shine with a cool contrast.  This will give you a clear separation of colors. 
Stamping the By The Seashore images on Very Vanilla with Baked Brown Sugar ink and cut out.  Layer and tie together with the Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine for a cute nautical look.  Layer over Baked Brown Sugar card stock for a beach-themed card.  It's pretty 'swell', isn't it?
