It started yesterday - as we were walking out the door to eat dinner at a church fundraiser - my youngest placed her hand over her ear and said "My ear hurts!". Then, like dominoes, they fell, one by one. So rest is the best medicine, but giving my angels rest means that I am pulled in 100 directions! I asked the girls to find something to do so that mom could work. I love that they went to our family album to look over their memories of the past year. Being a mom, this warms my heart to know that with Project Life by Stampin' Up! I am leaving behind a legacy of memories and love.

Mom has errands to do - even with sick kids. My car needed a simple but necessary adjustment - so off to the mechanic we go!
Heading home, I needed a coffee and my girls wanted some 'comfort' food - so we grabbed some bagels. I love that they scored some green St. Patrick's plain bagels with nutella. (Does that make it an Irish/Italian mix - lol?) Our sick day also means a Pajama Day! Who cares if we are running errands, it's a blast to sport your comfy pj's all day. Jammies can be stylish - just snag some of mom's glasses and you now look like a rock-star - lol. This also makes for a fun memory out of a sore ear day.

Sisters - I pray, regularly, that my kids will have a loving and deep relationship with each other. I was close to my brother but my sister were older so it was different. Seeing the girls hanging together, connecting, reminiscing brings me such joy.

On this Memory Celebrating Monday - it's interesting that my girls drifted over to our family album to revisit their memories. My older angel even did some pages in her own book! I love that my efforts in documenting our life gives my kids more than pictures on my Iphone or Facebook! (I have so many pictures (thanks to my Iphone and Groovebook App) that there is no way I could ever documented them all.) Here a little effort (it's such fun - little effort involved) in getting my pictures into our books gives us moments like this - remembering our very blessed life. (Score one for Mom - lol!)
