God Bless the USA! My kids asked me what the 4th of July celebrates. I know that I bleed the red, white and blue. I love my country and am passionate about it. Did you know... On July 4, 1776, the thirteen colonies claimed their independence from England, an event which eventually led to the formation of the United States. Each year on July 4th, also known as Independence Day, Americans celebrate this historic event.
This card is perfect in celebrating the beauty of our nation, the waving of our beloved Old Glory. Created at a recent card making class, I love the unique technique to create this patriotic hand-crafted card.

How To:
~ Using the long wave die-cut to cut two strips of the Real Red card stock with the wave long strip from the Swirrly Scribbles Thinlits in the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and Magnetic Platform.
~ Brush with the Big Shot Die Brush and save all of the pieces.
~ Adhere the long strips to the Thick Whisper White card stock with the Fine-Tip Glue.
~ Die Cut a 2" strip of the Night of Navy card stock. WHILE all of the pieces are together apply a strip of Fast Fuse adhesive to the back of the die-cut set.
~ Apply this to the corner of the card. Use the Big Shot Die Brush on the card and Night of Navy card stock.
~ Punch with the Confetti Star Punch either Silver Glimmer paper or Foil Sheets (if sending to active military you can not use glitter on a card) for this Punch-Art Flag.
~ Apply drops of the Fine-Tip Glue to the blue patch and add the punched stars.
~ Use the remaining pieces of the Real Red die-cut card stock and finish the flag side next to the Night of Navy.
