Marriage is a Journey hand made card

I have many adopted family members, those that are friends who are like family.  Recently a dear "adopted" niece Nicole became engaged to the man she has loved for the past three + years.  I was honored to attend her Bridal Shower and celebrate the next step in her life.

My girl, she's a beach loving, surfing, strong yet gentle, photographer and so so so much more.  So for my angel girl (who's taken our family photos for the past 8 years) I wanted a clean, elegant, sparkling, warm but beachy cool hand made wedding card.
~  Starting with the Pool Party card stock base and a piece at 4" x 5-1/4".  
~  Die cut the smaller piece with the Flourishing Thinlit flowered vine.  
~  Adhere the Copper Foil sheet to the card base.
~  Prep the die-cut piece with the Embossing Buddy across the top of the die-cut piece. 
~  Stamp the Marriage is a Journey greeting from the Flourishing Phrases coordinating stamp set in Versa Mark ink pad.
~  Cover with Copper Embossing Powder and heat set with our Heat Tool.
~ Adhere the stamped and heat embossed top die-cut piece to the copper foil with Stampin' Dimensional adhesive.
~  With rolled glue dots adhere the inside die-cut flowering vine (after you removed the bits and pieces).  
~  This creates a lower intricate vine over the Copper Foil with the raised top piece and the texture of the raised words in Copper.
~  Apply our adhesive backed Gold Faceted Gems to the card for a dash of sparkle.  
This girl.  She's a rock to all around her, sees the world in a beautiful way and loves on my children and us.  I'm calling her my niece.  I love her family but this girl... she's a genuine jewel in a dark world.  Her fiance is a wise man, he loves on her, adores her, honors her and works by her side to make the world more beautiful.

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
