Delightful dragonfly birthday card

I have this friend... (stories like this always make me laugh) and this friend is my right hand, my rock, my searing hot prod, my confidant, my sister-of-my-heart.  Her birthday was this week.  This is a fun combination of our Idea Book and Catalog and the Spring Occasions Catalog for the perfect mix (like my friend and I - lol).

This fun, realistic, Confetti filled paper is from the Picture Perfect birthday collection in the Occasions Spring Catalog.  Combined with the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper.  Using the Dragonfly coordinating suites to create this birthday card.
Layers.  Like most people there are layers to them, ones that you delve into and learn more about.  
Creating this dimensional Dragonfly was easy and I really do love the results...
~  Die-Cut the Dragonfly thinlit in all three layers of hte Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper.
~  Layer over one another with the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals - BUT Slightly layer off of each other so that the bottom colors peak through with beautiful sparkle.  
~  Stamp the pretty picture of confetti page (4" x 5-1/4") with the Bemuda Bay ink pad and this Dragonfly Dreams stamp set greeting.
~  Add more sparkle with our Clear Wink of Stella glimmer brush over the confetti.
~  Adhere the pretty layered dragonfly.
Sparkle... just like my friend!!  Is there ever toooooo much sparkle?? (I agree - nope - lol.)

If I looked up the word sparkle in the dictionary, I would find Jamie Albanese picture there. I have had the sweet blessing of knowing Jamie and her family for over 5 years now. Every time I am with her I feel loved and inspired. When I am in one of her classes I feel my creative juices flow, as she encourages me to go outside my comfort zone. Jamie helped our girl scout troop make cards for a soldier who needed some encouragement!!! For any of you who have not been in one of Jamie's classes, please don't let another day slip by. Jamie has a great eye for style and flair, and it shows in her work. Yet she can pick up on your own individual style and makes great recommendations.
